The older goddess had looked so worried that Proserpina could have sworn she had heard alarm bells distantly ringing in the back of her head.

And Proserpina knows… she just know deep in her heart of hearts that this is going to be one of those long talks that is going to be so mortifying and potentially mind-scarring for life that the goddess of shadows just might be finally relent to the god of doctors’ kind suggestion for her to go seek a therapist. She should know, she had a lot of moments like those in her existence.
