“Alec!”

The names of both fighters echoed loudly across the arena. Despite Alec facing a significant disadvantage, his supporters didn’t relent in supporting him, they kept chanting his name in unison, holding on to hope that he could turn the tide.

The distance between Alec and Dorian closed with each passing second.

‘I can now slightly match his speed with the Red Salamander set this is an improvement,’ Alec thought, but his confidence wavered as he noticed Dorian moving even faster when he came closer

Bang!

“Fuck!” Alec cursed, as he staggered backward after being struck in the face by the hilt of Dorian’s long sword.

Dorian had wasted no time when he was in such close distance, he capitalised on his chance by raising his sword high with both hands and jabbing it toward Alec's face.

Though the attack caught him off guard, but Alec quickly regained his composure, by tilting his body to the side when he felt his danger senses tingling.
