In the end, Alec successfully helped Agnes evolve all five of her golems, before collapsing onto his back with a loud thud that echoed around them.

Agnes squealed and rushed toward the new forms of the three golems Alec had just worked on.

As usual, before starting the evolution, Alec had explained the paths available for her to choose from, just as he had done when he worked on the stone golems’ evolution.

Alec believed that as the master, she should have a say in what path her golems would evolve into.

And she decided that two of them would follow the mud golem path, while the last would become an ice golem.

Alec was surprised by her choice of the mud golem over the tank/ attacking/control-type ice golem.

However, upon further reflection, he began to see a connection, as he recalled that in the past, when he wanted his golems to focus on a specific path, he created something to steer them in that direction.
