Alec wore a look of surprise because, no matter what he had imagined, Knight being knocked out of the Beast Forest was never one of the possibilities running through his mind.

He hadn’t even realized that one could access the Black void Space after entering the Beast Forest, because once he entered, he fought until either his time ran out or he was killed, both of which always resulted in his consciousness being transported back to his body.

This meant that he thought there was no way back after entering the Beast Forest all this while, whereby there might have been a way.

With many questions swirling in his mind, Alec couldn't help but move closer to Knight, who looked pale and exhausted.

“Without omitting anything, tell me exactly what happened to you in the Beast Forest!” Alec demanded, staring directly at Knight not even caring if he was still tired or not.

“Okay!” Knight nodded, trying to catch his breath.
