Chapitre 171: Ego the born psychopath
With the tension of the L.T.O. invasion increasing by the minute, a prologued fight is still taking place at the east corner of Grava City.
Death with her vast amount of zombies and Mr.Alex with his goo power giving him infinite stamina have been going at it for hours with nobody budging even a little.
In an alleyway, Mr.Alex is sticking to the side of a wall with his goo as zombies walk below him.
"This isn't looking promising at all. I've been fighting these zombies forever with no progress! I might have infinite stamina, but my OGI isn't going to last forever," Mr.Alex thinks to himself with a calm expression.
Suddenly three zombies from on top of the roof jumped down to get to Mr.Alex.
"Tch, not to forget that I've killed Death about six times now, and no matter how many times I place goo on her to track her, she continues reincarnating into a new zombie."
Mr.Alex jumps off the side of the building and morphs his left arm into a machine gun.
"Is this what a fight against Death is like?"
Bullets made out of hardened goo start to spray out of Mr.Alex's arm at a speed greater than a regular machine gun. The second the bullets come into contact with the zombies, their bodies fall apart.
"She just continues increasing her numbers as the battles go on! It's either she has a lot of OGI to work with or these zombies take up little to nothing to use!"
Mr.Alex looks down at the zombies below him and begins morphing his right hand into something.
"I got to find a way to eliminate these zombies faster, or this battle will end when I have nothing left in the tank!"
Mr.Alex's right hand morphs into a giant, spiky ball, and he instantly raises it into the air.
"Only if I knew how her entire power works," Mr.Alex thinks to himself as he slams the giant spiky ball onto the zombies below him.
Mr.Alex lands on the ground he just cleared and turns his entire body into goo. Then he starts to slide his way out of the alleyway.
"Of course, there's more!" Mr.Alex thinks to himself.
Mr.Alex runs into a multitude of other zombies and starts knocking them off in groups by melting them with his now acidic goo.
At the same time, Death is standing miles away, hiding behind her army of zombies.
"Hehe! Look at him struggle! He's probably realized by now that this fight will never end until I decide, or even better until he dies." Death says as she bites her fingers.
Death looks over to her left and sees one of her dead bodies. Death walks up to the zombie and tears its left arm off. On the arm is a digital watch, and Death clicks a button on the side.
"Oh, look at the time; it looks like I won't have to stall this dumbass teacher for much longer," Death whispers with a chilling tone.
As Mr.Alex continues getting bombarded with zombies, another battle begins on the north corner of Grava City.
A few miles away from the battle between Mr.Chad and Wrath, Mr.Mink is dealing with his battle against Ego.
Ego and Mr.Mink are running from rooftop to rooftop at the same speed, with nobody slowing down or speeding up.
"You shouldn't be here, Ego! Please just leave; we can settle our differences another time!" Mr.Mink yells with a stressed tone.
"Were you not listening? I'm not here to settle differences or something stupid like that! I'm here to see the man of chaos in action once again!" Ego screams with a sadistic smile.
Ego suddenly vanishes but then instantly reappears next to Mr.Mink with a knife in hand.
Ego attempts to grab him, but Mr.Mink instantly breaks the knife with a simple slap, punches Ego in the face, grabs him by the arm, and punches him in the gut.
"You know better than anyone, Ego, that this battle is nothing but a waste of time, so please just quit!" Mr.Mink shouts as he flips Ego onto another roof.
As Ego flies to the other roof, he vanishes and reappears on top of a different house on the left of Mr.Mink. After Mr.Mink sees the house Ego is standing on, Mr.Mink realizes something.
"Wait a minute, did we really run this far from Mr.Chad? This is the main residential area of Grava City! Damn it! This isn't good; I don't want to fight here; there could be loads of citizens in these houses right under us," Mr.Mink thinks to himself with an alarmed expression.
Ego suddenly vanishes again, but this time he appears next to Mr.Mink with a metal baseball bat in his hand.
"Hey, Invincible, why are you just standing like an untrained idiot, huh?" Ego yells with a smirk.
Ego swings the bat at Mr.Mink which gets blocked, but then Ego drops it and flips away.
Mr.Mink quickly rushes forward and goes in for a kick at Ego's left rib.
"Come on, Invincible, you need a little more effort than that!" Ego remarks.
Ego jumps up and catches Mr.Mink's kick with his left elbow and knee.
"Too slow!" Ego exclaims with a mocking tone.
Ego pulls out a pistol from his pocket and starts shooting at Mr.Mink's head.
Mr.Mink bobs his head out of the way of each bullet and throws Ego off of his leg.
"Damn it, I can't ask this crazy kid to move out of this area; I have no idea what he might do," Mr.Mink thinks to himself as he rushes forward with the accelerate technique and smacks him across the face.
After getting slapped, Ego rolls around Mr.Mink's arm, jumps up, and, with a backflip, attempts to kick Mr.Mink on the top of the head.
"This kid isn't the tallest or smallest; he actually has a perfect stature for his fighting style, but the way he fights is so quick he could catch me off guard at any moment!" Mr. Mink says as he tosses Ego onto another roof.
After throwing Ego, Mr.Mink applies the flex technique to his legs and jumps after Ego.
Mr.Mink jumps up as high as he can, and with Ego laid out on the roof, he goes in to slam both of his feet on him.
Ego rolls out of the way, and Mr.Mink slams through the roof, falling into the house.
Once Mr.Mink is in the house, he starts to look around.
"I'm in the kitchen," Mr.Mink says with a serious expression.
With Mr.Mink in the tiny kitchen, Ego jumps through the hole he made and instantly tries to kick him twice. After getting blocked, Ego started to look around him.
"Now this is the perfect setting! A small kitchen just for me!" Ego yells.
Ego lands on the counter with both of his feet and then vanishes. Mr.Mink looks behind him and sees Ego standing on the other counter.
"Why do you look so on guard? You're just fighting a child, remember?" Ego screams with a psychotic smile.
Ego grabs a pizza roller off the counter and forces Mr.Mink to block an attack from it.
Ego then flips over to another counter on the left of the kitchen and lands on a microwave.
Mr.Mink attempts to punch Ego in the face, but Ego easily dodges, causing Mr.Mink to punch the wall instead.
"Damn, this place is too small for me to fight hand-to-hand!" Mr.Mink shouts in agitation.
Ego grabs a stack of knives from an open cabinet and starts tossing them close range at Mr.Mink.
"This battle is starting to play into his hand. I need to turn the tables!"
After this thought, Mr.Mink knocks down the knives coming at him with his bare hands and grabs Ego by the throat while pinning him to the wall.
"Woah, calm down, Invincible. I'm just a child, you freak!" Ego says with a struggling look on his face.
Ego vanishes from Mr.Mink's grasp and reappears next to Mr.Mink's blind spot. Once he sees an opening, Ego goes in for a punch, but Mr.Mink moves quickly and catches Ego's fist.
"I'm no pedophile brat!"
Mr.Mink opens the door of the microwave and starts slamming Ego's face between the door and the body of the microwave.
"Ouch! Damn, what a dirty little tactic!" Ego remarks.
Ego vanishes once again and then appears above Mr.Mink with a cutting board in hand.
"Wow, you truly are chaos! Even in a space like this, you excel; let me indulge in it some more." Ego screams with excitement.
Ego swings the cutting board at Mr.Mink's head, but Mr.Mink blocks it with the microwave, breaking both items.
With Ego still mid-air, Mr.Mink tackles him into the dining room. Before Ego can land, Mr.Mink runs into the room and grabs him by both legs.
"I don't care how you're here, Ego! I won't let you cause any trouble for this next generation!" Mr.Mink yells with a determined expression.
Mr.Mink lifts Ego up by the legs and swings him downward where the dining table is, but before Ego can hit the table, he vanishes.
"What type of declaration was that? That's not the Invincible, I know," he says as he appears on the left of the room and proceeds to lay back on the wall.
"Stop calling me that name! I'm not that person anymore; I haven't been for a long time!" Mr.Mink screams in distress.
"Oh, come on, be for real, Invincible; you really think just because it's been so long and everyone forgot about those times that you're any different from you back then? You still have the same body, brain, and heart; heh, I bet you even piss the same! But most importantly, that soul of yours is still the same, and you can wash it as many times as you want; the stains will never clear!"
As Ego speaks, the instantly in his eyes continues to grow.
"I came here for that man! Now stop fucking around Invincible and show me chaos!" Ego screams as his red eyes glow brighter.
After hearing Ego's words, Mr.Mink starts to think hard.
"Hey, Ego!"
"Oh yes, what is it, Invincible?" Ego responds with a smile.
"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that name?" Mr. Mink says it with an infuriated expression on his face.
Mr.Mink pokes out his shoulder and rams straight into Ego, sending him flying out of the house straight into another one.
When the two of them bust through the wall of the new house, both of them notice three scared little girls hiding under a table.
"Ooo free points!"
Ego pulls out his pistol and shoots each little girl in the head with efficiency.
"No!" Mr.Mink screams in anger.
Mr.Mink grabs Ego by the collar and throws him to a window leading outside, but then Ego vanishes before hitting the window.
With Ego gone, Mr.Mink looks over to the little girls and sees their lifeless bodies smack the ground.
"No, not again!" Mr. Mink screams with a sad expression.
Mr.Mink looks at his hands, and suddenly Mr.Mink sees blood all over them, but when he blinks, there is no blood in sight.
Seconds later, Mr.Mink walks out the door of the house, and the first thing he sees is Ego standing there with a smile and a metal pipe in hand.
"Why did you do that? Those kids had nothing to do with our fight!" Mr.Mink screams in rage.
"Oh yes, there it is. I'm starting to see the Invincible I know in there," Ego says with a smirk.
"Answer me!"
"Oh well, if you want to know so bad, let's say I knew it would piss the current you off."
