"How many times do I need to explain the same shit to you, Madeline?" Elliana asked, licking her lower lip like a monster, ready to attack and devour her alive.

"Honestly, I know that you are not even interested in the man himself but the powers he holds in the vampire Kingdom. And now with the nearing ceremony, you would want to find any chance to get close to him," Elliana whispered to her before smirking.

Her heart thumped loudly, feeling a strange fear running through her veins that she had never felt before. It was something that she didn't even feel when she faced those royal vampires. So what was this feeling that was clogging her heart and rendering her unable to breathe?
