Just as Dragon had mentioned, someone entered Leo's room an hour later. The individual merely delivered a file for Leo to study. However, due to temporary paralysis from the neck down, he couldn't immediately peruse its contents. Patience was required as he awaited the drug's effects to wear off.

Sixteen hours passed—the duration it took for the drug to begin receding. Even then, Leo could barely shift on the bed. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead and back as he struggled to reach for the folder.

"Hah..." Leo exhaled upon completing the last pages of the file Dragon had sent. He let his arm drop to his side, hand hanging over the bed's edge. Heavy-eyed, he gazed at the ceiling, reminiscing about the exhaustion he felt memorizing a script during his first leading role many years ago.
