Chapitre 101: Painters to madness

"Mithiyana?" Neyath exclaimed. "They are our enemies, brother." If only Nadine hadn't been a year older than Tarken, Neyath wouldn't have had to search for a bride.

"Neyath, have you ever seen such an exquisite beauty within the Kingdoms of Vrinastha? The entire country would seethe with jealousy if Tarken were to claim her." Achar continued. "And if the King decides to return their sister, there should be no obstacle to bestowing their princess upon us. Yet, if they persist in their stubbornness, we shall seize her ourselves and bring her by force."

Neyath's eyes lit up with concurrence. Her brother had hit the nail on the head. The queens and aristocratic ladies, especially Rihritha, would be consumed by a seething jealousy. She would have a stunning daughter-in-law, which her sons would not have. 

Neyath shifted her gaze toward the guard. "Take the painting and place it in Tarken's chamber." Her son was in for an unexpected surprise today.
