It was the following day, and Anna sat in front of her intricately designed mirror, her slender fingers carefully adjusting her lustrous black hair. She gazed at her reflection, lost in her thoughts.

"I knew it," Anna whispered in her mind, her eyes fixed on her own image. 'For the Mistress to be intrigued by him, he must possess something extraordinary.' The memory of Ethan valiantly battling the monstrous creature in the village flooded her mind, leaving an indelible impression.

Pausing her grooming, she continued to study her reflection, searching for answers within herself. "What he used... I couldn't detect a trace of magic in his attack," she mused. 

"He is not ordinary; that much is evident. Those captivating eyes of his..." She trailed off, her hand unconsciously moving to her chest as she silently questioned her inexplicable attachment to his presence.
