"So, how am I supposed to tell my heart to fall for a single woman and not a married woman? My heart can't differentiate between the two. It only sees a person for who they are, and I like who you are, Mia. I like you. It's as simple as that."
Mia opened and closed her mouth in bewilderment. He had really meant it when he said he had fallen for her. "Can I think about it?"
He nodded. "You can think about it, but I am not taking no for an answer. Plus, this will always count as our first date."
Mia glanced at the food. He had really outdone himself. "Don't tell me you prepared all of this?"
He smiled. "I didn't. My house help did."
"Then why were you in the apron?"
He smiled again. "I wanted to impress you. Did I?"
"You did. I thought you made all this for me. I would have said yes to your proposal immediately. You know, the way to a woman's heart is through food. It's as simple as that."
