Chapitre 19: Shin Versus Teach Part 2
When Shin reached closer to Teach, he noticed something different in Teach. He didn't understand it but he didn't have time to ponder over it.
He raised his axe, channeling his Qi into his veins. His Iron Body was strong but even without his Iron Body, his strength was also strong.
The Qi that reached deep into his veins started trembling and the power of his Qi started affecting his blood.
For a moment, he felt his blood gushing around his blood veins at an extreme speed. His blood was boiling, literally.
The Spark merged with Qi releasing the flames inside his veins and thus, created an intense heat in his blood.
This heat instantly made his arm turn red as he swung his arm.
[One Sword Flow]
The axe moved like a sword as it struck Teach on its shoulder.
[Berserk Slash]
Splash!
He pulled his axe down as he cut the skin and muscle of the wolf. The blood splattered on his face as Teach slowly fell to the ground.
Thud!
'Damn! I got blood all over my face.' Shin released a vast amount of Qi into his veins and immediately stopped Flame Qi Art. Without the spark, the Qi could no longer burn.
And, the remaining Qi helped him stabilize his blood.
Qi was truly a miraculous energy. It could not only turn into flame through a small spark but it could also heal his blood.
"Shin!"
A voice rang behind him as Hina dashed toward him. Before Shin could turn around, she had already reached in front of him.
"Shin, are you alright? What happened to your arm? Why did I feel flame inside your body?"
Just a few seconds ago, Hina felt the flames burning inside his veins which shocked her. Even with the protection of Qi, she wouldn't dare to release flames inside her body.
That would literally burn her.
So, it made her extremely worried about his state but since he was already attacking Teach, she couldn't interfere.
Only when he finished attacking Teach, she rushed toward him at her fastest speed.
Seeing her concerned expression, Shin smiled at his bloody face while wiping out the blood from his face.
"Don't worry, I have Iron Body. I can easily recover from this kind of situation. Besides, if I wasn't confident, why would I use such power?"
Hearing his words, Hina calmed down a bit as she patted her chest. But, then she instantly shouted.
"Do you have any idea what kind of damage that could've caused? You were the one who told me that Flame Qi Art doesn't make us fire resistance. How could you recklessly use an attack?"
"Don't worry about it! This is my fighting style." Shin couldn't help but feel speechless at her overly concerned tone.
"What kind of fighting style is this? It feels like you are using a sword but you are clearly using an axe."
Another voice rang from the side.
Shin turned his head and saw Barry walking toward him. He turned his head at Hina with a questioning gaze.
Hina also saw his intention and hurriedly explained.
"Don't worry, he isn't a bad guy. Although he was with them, he never truly joined them from his heart. He also helped me during this battle otherwise I would've died."
Hearing her words, Shin calmed down a bit and answered.
"This is my fighting style which I call 'Berserker Swordsmanship'."
"Sure enough! I was right. Only by leaving my village, I can find the higher heights of swordsmanship. Hey, let's compete! Let's see whose swordsmanship is better."
Barry instantly got excited when he heard the name and he quickly asked for the battle.
Shin and Hina were dumbfounded by his excitement. Hina instantly raised her eyebrows and clenched her fist.
Bang!
"You idiot, can't you see he just used a self-injuring technique during the battle?"
"Ow! Ow! Ow!"
Barry held his head with both of his hands while screaming in pain. He looked at Hina and shouted.
"Sister, are you a gorilla? Why does your fist hurt so much?"
Suddenly, Hina's eyes turned red as she clenched her fist.
"What did you call me?"
Seeing her eyes, Barry felt an aura of death in front of him. He quickly rushed beside Shin and said.
"Brother Shin, you must save me. I don't want to die here. I must become the World's Greatest Swordsman before my death. Please don't let her kill me!"
Barry's face turned green as he regretted calling her gorilla. This aura of death was still haunting him.
Shin found his expression extremely funny but he didn't laugh. He shook his head and said.
"Is that your dream? To become the World's Greatest Swordsman?"
Barry's expression suddenly changed and he got serious as he nodded his head.
"Yes, my dream is to become the World's Greatest Swordsman."
Hearing his words, a smile appeared on his face as he asked.
"Then, do you like to join us? My goal is to find the Ultimate Treasure."
Barry froze for a moment as he asked in disbelief.
"Are you serious? Don't you know that no one in this world has ever found the Ultimate Treasure?"
Shin continued to smile as he said.
"No one has found it doesn't mean no one will find it. My name is Shin. I will become the first person to find the Ultimate Treasure and become the Richest Man in the World."
"Ahh! So, your dream is to become the Richest Man in the world? Then, why would you need the Ultimate Treasure? Even if you manage to clear five Sacred Grounds, you will have the wealth that nobody could ever rival."
Barry looked at him with a foolish expression and asked.
"Because once someone else finds this treasure, that person will become the Richest in the world which I won't allow it."
"I must be the one to become the Richest in the world. So, do you want to join us?" Shin showed a serious expression as he spoke.
Hearing his words, Barry suspiciously stared at him and asked.
"You are not a miser, are you?"
A vein popped out of Shin's head while Hina burst into laughter.
"Hehe! Shin, you truly won't be a miser, right?"
When Barry saw his expression changing, he quickly raised his head and shook his head.
"Kidding! I was just kidding. Well, since you want to find the Ultimate Treasure, I will accompany you. My dream is to become the World's Greatest Swordsman."
"I just have one request. Whenever we face a swordsman, please let me fight." Barry agreed to join but when he stated his condition, he had a serious expression on his face.
Shin slowly let out a smile as he nodded his head.
"Don't worry, I am not a pure swordsman. If he wasn't extremely resistant to my attacks, I wouldn't have used my swordsmanship at all."
While saying this, he turned his head at Teach and asked.
"What about others? Are they dead or just unconscious?"
"It doesn't matter, right?"
Hina said as she slowly walked toward the bodies of those bandits. Most of them weren't dead but rather pretending to be dead.
Hina walked in front of them and raised her hand. A red glow appeared on her fingertips.
When it appeared, the temperature around them increased by a lot.
"Wait, wait, wait, don't kill us! We were just following orders."
"Yes, please don't kill us. We were just following orders."
"Barry, say something! Did you forget all the time we spent together?"
"Damn it! Barry, I didn't expect you to be such a person."
Those people who felt the heat instantly woke up and started begging for their lives. The moment their boss used that genetic medicine, they knew that they must pretend to be dead.
Although eighty of them were heavily injured by that explosion, they weren't truly dead. So, even they woke up and started begging for their lives.
Unfortunately, Hina didn't even have a slight thought for mercy. She saw these bandits kill her people in front of her own eyes.
How could she show mercy after that?
[Crimson Destruction]
She condensed the red ball in front of her fingers and shoot it toward those bandits. Before even those bandits could react, the ball struck them and exploded.
Boom!
The massive flame covered dozens of meters and reached in front of Hina's face. But, it didn't even touch her. She was standing in front of the explosion without the slightest expression on her face.
At this moment, she couldn't help but remember the face of that woman who lost her husband and her children because of these bandits.
She clenched her fist and turned around, walking in front of Shin. Her eyes were red as she hoarsely spoke.
"Shin, do you think this kind of thing will happen in the future when we are not around?"
Hearing her tone, Shin didn't know how to respond for a moment.
But, on the side, Barry decided to speak.
"It will happen again. Because of 'that man' this region no longer has a Sacred Ground and World Association has withdrawn its station from this region."
"So, bandits are running rampant in this region."
