Chapitre 18: Shin Versus Teach Part 1
"This kind of enemy is truly hard to deal with."
Shin stared at Teach who had taken more than dozens of punches from him and was still fighting without any trace of injuries, feeling a bit heavy.
He couldn't help but remember Iron Fist's son. The only reason why he was able to win against Iron Fist's son was because he could distract him.
Whenever he loses his concentration, his Iron Body becomes vulnerable. It's not that it will become completely vulnerable like a normal body.
But, it won't be able to maintain the hardness of the iron.
Of course, even with concentration, his body wouldn't be as hard as iron. In fact, even with Level 7 Iron Body, he couldn't reach half of the iron's hardness.
But even so, this was more than enough in certain situations, at least this kind of situation.

He raised his left hand and block the claw of Teach while looking at the right side.
His eyes lit up. He kicked the ground and lifted himself in the air. He swung his left leg and kicked Teach in his head.

Teach flew toward the ground and struck a few times before stopping on the ground.
Shin took this as an opportunity and rushed toward the right side.
He found the big axe. Although it wasn't a sword, he could still use it.
Roar!
Teach suddenly let out a powerful roar and ran toward him on four legs. This time, his eyes were a bit clear but the power hasn't gone down at all.

Shin turned around and raised his arm. The Qi transported into his arm changed into flame with a spark of fire. It quickly moved toward Teach and formed a massive prison around it.
The prison bars were so hot that his body almost melted when Teach tried to break it.
"Wow! Sister Hina, can you do that kind of move?" Barry who was watching the battle from afar got excited opening seeing this move.
"Yes, I can but it takes a lot of Qi. With my current Qi amount, I can only use it whenever my Qi is full." Hina nodded her head and answered.
This was the trick that they came up with while discussing Flame Qi Art. In fact, most of the moves that she used came up while discussing with him.
"This guy must be a monster. He had been using Qi from the beginning and still could use such a powerful move." Barry couldn't help but feel jealous about Shin's Qi reserve.

Hina smashed his head and said.

Knowing that Tyro's Family was trying so hard to pull Shin back into their family, they must have noticed his talent.
But, since Shin wasn't willing to go back, he never got a chance to explore his talent. Originally, this was just her guess but when she learned about the difficulty of extracting Qi, her guess turned into a reason.
The only reason why she was able to extract her physical energy and spiritual energy for so long was because she wouldn't get mentally exhausted.
Only when she was physically exhausted, she would stop and the total time would be ten minutes.
But, Shin was different. He would feel mental exhaustion and physical exhaustion but only after fifteen minutes. And, before this, Shin never seriously trained.
It's not like he was really strong from the beginning. It's just that his mental capacity and physical capacity seemed quite strong.
So, Hina verified that Shin was extremely talented from the beginning but he didn't learn any Qi Art so he wasn't able to train before.

But, with that light came a massive momentum. It was crushing air flow as he swung his ax forward, it struck Teach on his chest.

When his axe struck Teach's chest, the blood spurted out of his chest. The entire metal area of the ax was covered in his blood.
"Oops!"
Shin noticed his mistake as his eyes narrowed. Teach raised his arm and the sharp claws slashed his chest.

Although Shin managed to retreat a few steps back, his skin was still scratched by that strike.
At this moment, he had deactivated his Iron Body. Iron Body was a bit weird. It was a passive ability as it wouldn't cost him any energy to use.
But, the downside was it would make his body heavier and harder to move. Whenever he uses his Qi, he could change the weight of his Iron Body and move with ease but without Qi, it would be hard to do so.
So, he had deactivated his Iron Body but right now, he was injured because of that.
While looking at his injuries, Shin thought.
'I need to find a way to save my Qi for Iron Body all the time. Looks like I need to either find a proper Martial Art or create my own.'
'I might not be able to do it on my own but if Hina helps me, it would be possible. With her exceptional Qi control, it wouldn't be that hard.'
'Anyway, right now, I need to finish this guy first.'
Shin quickly stomped his foot on the ground and his body dashed toward Teach. For a moment, Teach was completely unable to maintain his consciousness inside the body of the wolf.
As his consciousness began to sink, he spoke.
'What's going on? Why am I unable to control my body even more? This isn't me. I need to control my body. I need to run away. I can't die here.'
When he spoke, another voice rang inside him.
'Run? Where do you think you can run? That man will kill you. He will kill all of your subordinates. Don't try to control this body.'
'Let go of all your emotions and let me handle everything. Only this way you can survive.'
Hearing this voice in his head, Teach shivered in fear as he asked.
'Am I going to die? Please! Please save me! I don't want to die. Please save me.'
At this moment, he completely let go of any resistance. But, at the same time, another voice rang in his head. This voice was soft, full of concern.
'Teach, don't lose hope. As long as you survive, you will find a new world. Just keep on living, Teach! Just keep on living in this cursed world.'
'No matter what you do, no matter how you live, we will never raise a question. Just survive Teach! Just survive, my son!'
When this voice rang in his head, Teach suddenly regained all of his consciousness.
'Damn it! Damn it! Why does he still have his consciousness? I can't devour him in this state.'
The evil voice inside of him became louder, filled with anger and hatred.
Slowly, Teach regained all of his consciousness but didn't control his body.
'Yes, I must survive. Mom, I will survive in this cursed world even if I become a cursed creature.'
'That strange genetic enhancing potion created a new power inside my body. I don't need to control it but I can't give up my body to it.'
'Because that would mean my death.'
