Chapitre 4: Easy escape, Strength
Inside a small train traveling to Washington City itself, one of America's strongholds, a young man wearing a black leather jacket sat with a calm gaze. He had short silver hair and wore extremely dark round glasses.
" I wonder how the kid is doing?" Silver sighed as he looked out the window. One may ask, how was he able to escape his shack under the gazes of two trucks filled with armored soldiers. Well, let's do a little flashback. .....
Back at the abandoned shack, Silver's senses picked up a couple of intruding objects a few miles from his home. Walking out slowly in order not to attract attention, he began doing a set of stretches as his eyes spotted them even from miles away.
" Two armored trucks, 5 armed personnel. Four males and a female, 4 Arcanist a, one normal person." He immediately identified the threat level and walked back after finishing his stretches.
" Ares, initiate Emergency Protocols, Contigency 85." He said abruptly, before he sensed two drones stealthily planting recording devices in his room, to which he laughed and sat down.
A few minutes later, he felt a rush of wind, before he saw Anderson's figure smash into him in a tight hug as he sobbed. Examining him with his eyes, he saw a secret recording device on his shoulder the boy had failed to notice.
" Hey are you alright little guy?" He slowly spoke as he picked the recording device and showed it to Anderson who immediately reacted in shock. However Silver grabbed him silently and placed the recording device back on his shoulder as he signaled him to continue his act.
" I thought something had happened to you." Anderson being a smart kid immediately noticed what Silver wanted to do and played along sobbing and sniffing.
" What could possibly happen to me? Don't you know who I am?" Silver said with a smile as he backed up, picked a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a few things. " 5 million dollars; account number 123ax25, Washington, address; 135 Barley Street." Anderson read the words on the paper silently.
" Go and buy a few things from the mall, I'll cook your favorite dish tonight." Silver spoke as he winked.
Anderson erupted in tears as he did not want to leave Silver. After a few retorts, and hugs as they played along, he was about to leave when Silver stopped him once more.
" When you get past them, go super sonic, that should be enough to shake off the recording device." Silver stealthily handed him another paper as he read and nodded. Tears looked in his eyes as he realized that he had to separate from his brother, however he knew that if he stayed, Silver might not be able to protect both of them together so he hardened his eyes and shot off. Immediately achieving super sonic speed as he sped past the armored trucks.
' Part 1 of Contingency 85 accomplished.' Silver smiled. " It's time to eat some pizza." He smiled and spoke, and the moment he did, his electric stereo as if having a mind of its own began to play music, as he looked on the monitor and saw a 15 minute countdown.
Taking advantage of the noise from the music, he picked his bag and immediately began to disassemble his computer system, taking away all the necessary and important parts.
" 3 minutes left." He wipes the sweat of his forehead, as he reached out to his shelf and picked a nose mask and a gas can. He immediately sprayed the colorless odorless poisonous gas all around the room and immediately he finished, he heard a knock on the door.
The door activated in its own, as the Pizza delivery guy walked in with a bit of a surprise. " Sit down here and lemme bring you a tip." He heard a voice from the stereo to which he sat down. As a pizza delivery guy, the most important part of the delivery was the tip.
A few seconds later, his body convulsed as his eyes rolled back and he collapsed in the couch.
Picking up his body to the bedroom, he placed on the bed and stripped him of his clothes and wore them. He also picked a fake wig from his wardrobe and put it on, after which he put on a cap.
He then headed out and took of the mask after he reached the door, got on the delivery motorcycle and left.
" Ares, in case of any blockade within 25 meters, activate contingency 87. He spoke slightly as his motorcycle reached the armored trucks and passed by without any hindrances. His expression was calm, however his heart was beating extremely fast.
Immediately he was out of their sights, he headed to the abandoned warehouse near the train station his brother used to play, there he took out keys from his pocket and opened an old wardrobe.
He immediately changed his clothes and packed the rest of the items in the wardrobe which mostly included dollar bills into his bag. Then he headed to the train station and paid for a ticket and boarded a bus to Washington.

" I can just imagine the faces of those mercenaries when they realize that they had been tricked all along." Silver laughed.
A few minutes later, he got off the train as he looked at the city around him.
" Doesn't matter how many times I come here, this place still looks amazing." Silver laughed as he began to walk towards a part of the city.
Silver had actually thought of moving to the city in the past, hence, he had bought a couple of apartments one of which he directed Anderson to.
He walked until he got to a beautiful yet simple apartment. Entering the apartment, the interior didn't resemble exterior at all. The interior resembled a large science lab with a large bed and a wardrobe at the far end.
" Welcome back Sir Silver." Immediately he entered, a monotonous voice sounded out, before a giant hologram of a middle aged man with red hair appeared.
" It's good to be back Ares. Any progress with project 577?" Silver asked as he hung his jacket on a rack and took a seat behind a desk and began to go through notes on the desk.
" Well, Sir fortunately there has been some progress with the serum. The chances of success have increased from 35 to 79 percent, and most side effects reduced." The AI spoke.
" Should be enough Ares. I need to grow stronger as soon as possible." Silver sighed as decided. This was a project he was heavily invested in, a serum that could allow one to awaken Arcana. Compiling the research from several scientists, as well as doing several experiments with Anderson's DNA, he had managed to find out what really was responsible for the birth of an arcana and evolutionary traits.
" Alright Ares, run a few tests on the serum and prepare for assimilation." He sighed as he immediately went into the bathroom trade a cold shower. He needed to grow stronger, and he wasn't going to give up, until he reached his goal.
