Chapitre 33: The Land of Sand

After the battle, Jack summoned his family from the Pocket Space, as they all sat around the fire. Amelia, with worry on her face, started to tend Jack's wounds, while the others listened to the battle's recounting from the giants. Although all were worried, they knew how Jack was and they couldn't question him. Instead, they showed their love and concern by being there near him and tending to him. Only Aria had the privilege to ask about his well-being, but she was more excited than worried.

Dorry, his voice booming and filled with admiration, spoke first. "Jack, you fought with honor and courage. Although you were not able to defeat us, you did manage to land a few blows, which is more than any other human has ever done."

Brogy nodded in agreement, his deep voice rumbling with respect. "Aye, your strength and determination are truly impressive. It was an honor to fight you."

Jack's calm blue eyes met the giants' gazes, and he acknowledged their words with a nod. "Thank you, Dorry and Brogy. It was an honor to face you both, and I will carry the lessons I've learned with me."

Amelia, her hands gentle as she cleaned and bandaged Jack's wounds, couldn't help but voice her concern. "Jack, you shouldn't push yourself so hard. You're lucky you didn't get seriously injured."

Jack, his calm blue eyes meeting Amelia's, replied with a quiet firmness. "I know, Amelia. But I needed to test my strength against the giants. The experience was invaluable."

Isabella, sitting near Jack, chimed in, her tone understanding. "We know you, Jack. You have always been one to seek challenges and push your limits. Just remember that we're here for you, no matter what."

Jack's lips curved into a slight smirk, his eyes flickering with appreciation. "I know, Isabella. Thank you."

Aria, her forest green eyes wide with excitement, asked, "Daddy, what was it like fighting the giants? Were you scared?"

Jack, his voice gentle as he looked down at his daughter, replied, "It was exhilarating, Princess. And no, I wasn't scared. I knew I couldn't defeat them, but I wanted to see how far I could push myself."

Robin, perched on Liana's lap, copied Aria's question with an excited chirp. "Scared?"

Liana, her eyes filled with warmth and understanding, responded to Robin. "No, Robin, your father is very brave. He faced the giants without fear."

Olivia, her gaze flickering between Jack and the giants, spoke up, her voice soft yet firm. "The bond between Dorry and Brogy is truly inspiring. They have been fighting for a hundred years, and yet their friendship remains strong."

Luna, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears, added, "It's a testament to the power of love and loyalty, something we can all learn from."

Sophie, sitting next to Isabella, nodded in agreement. "Their friendship and honor are truly remarkable. We're fortunate to have witnessed such a bond."

As the day wore on, the group continued to share stories, laughter, and camaraderie. Aria and Robin, enthralled by the tales of the giants and their battles, listened with rapt attention.

Dorry and Brogy, their voices rumbling with warmth and affection, shared more about their homeland, Elbaf, and their experiences on Little Garden.

After resting enough, Jack decided it was time to visit the island with his family before leaving Little Garden. They all ventured out together, exploring the vast island and marveling at the giant creatures and trees that inhabited it. Even the sight of dinosaurs roaming freely left them awestruck.

As they explored the island, Aria and Robin excitedly pointed out various flora and fauna, their eyes wide with wonder. The family shared a sense of adventure and togetherness, while Dorry and Brogy accompanied them, sharing stories about the island and its inhabitants.

Finally, they reached the shore of the island, the giants standing beside them. Dorry looked at Jack, his voice rumbling with concern. "It takes a year for a Log Pose to adjust to this island. Do you have an Eternal Pose?"

Jack's calm blue eyes met Dorry's, a smirk playing on his lips. "No, I don't. I'll just head in a random direction and see where it takes me."

The giants stared at him in shock for a moment before they burst into boisterous laughter, their voices echoing across the island. The sound of their laughter was infectious, and soon everyone was joining in, filling the air with a sense of camaraderie and happiness.

As the laughter died down, Dorry shook his head, still chuckling. "Jack, you truly are a unique individual. Your courage and determination never cease to amaze us."

Brogy nodded in agreement, his deep voice rumbling with admiration. "Aye, we'll never forget you and your family. You've brought excitement and joy to our days here on Little Garden."

Jack's calm blue eyes held the giants' gazes, his voice sincere. "Thank you, Dorry and Brogy. We'll never forget you either. Your friendship and the lessons we've learned from you will stay with us always."

Dorry and Brogy looked at each other, a silent understanding passing between them. They pointed in a specific direction, their voices rumbling in unison. "The land of sand is that way, follow it, and you will eventually reach there."

Jack nodded, gratitude shining in his calm blue eyes. "Thank you, Dorry and Brogy. Your guidance is invaluable."

Before setting off, Jack gently put his family back into the Pocket Space, ensuring their safety during the journey. With a determined expression, he climbed onto the Bead Rider, his hands gripping the sides firmly.

The Bead Rider, powered by the Bodily Refinement Bead, allowed Jack to channel his energy into the boat, directing it towards a series of small turbines mounted on the bottom. As the turbines spun rapidly, they created a powerful current that propelled the boat forward.

Jack steered the Bead Rider by shifting his weight and using his physical strength to guide it in the desired direction. As the boat cut through the water, his calm blue eyes remained focused on the path ahead, his mind alert to any potential dangers.

The first obstacle they encountered was the Island Eater, a giant goldfish that inhabited the sea near Little Garden. This massive creature was classified as a Type C creature, "Big Savage," and was the main reason ships leaving the island never reached their destination. Despite its fearsome reputation, Jack knew he could defeat it. However, he also knew that engaging in battle with the Island Eater would be time-consuming and risky.

Instead, he chose to use his skills as a Bead Rider pilot to circumvent the creature. With precision and agility, Jack steered the boat around the Island Eater, avoiding its gaping maw and powerful tail. As he navigated around the enormous fish, Jack's calm blue eyes remained focused on the horizon, his expression cool and collected.

With the Island Eater successfully evaded, Jack continued his journey, following the direction indicated by Dorry and Brogy. As he sailed on, he couldn't help but reminisce about his time on Little Garden, the lessons he'd learned, and the friendships he'd forged.

He thought of the giants' unwavering loyalty and honor, qualities that deeply resonated with him. He recalled the thrilling battle he'd had with Dorry and Brogy, an experience that had pushed him to his limits and helped him grow stronger. And, of course, he thought of his family, their love, support, and understanding that bolstered him in even the most challenging situations.

A faint smile tugged at the corners of Jack's lips as he remembered Aria's excitement and curiosity, her forest green eyes wide with wonder as she listened to the giants' stories. He knew that she, too, was learning valuable lessons from their journey, and he was grateful for the opportunity to share these experiences with her.

He also thought of Robin, the youngest member of their family, who was just beginning to find her voice. Her infectious enthusiasm and joy brought warmth and happiness to their lives, and Jack couldn't help but feel a surge of love and protectiveness for the little girl.

As the Bead Rider cut through the water, Jack's calm blue eyes remained focused on the horizon, the land of sand drawing ever closer.
