"Nothing more will be said. I promise," Siena said, looking at Kayla. She was at her limit with Kayla's behaviour these days. Kayla was not like this when they were back at home so why now was she acting out of character?

Kayla looked right back at Siena, wondering if she was the only one to hear Annalise's threat. "If you do not want us to be here, you only need to say it and I will take my lady somewhere."

Annalise stopped, taking the moment to take off her chest plate. There was no one around other than Siena and Kayla to see her get undressed. "It is not you two that I do not want here. It is only you. Who are you to be calling the knights useless? The very same knights who go out to protect the kingdom. It is you who is useless."

"Then, if you wish to kick me out, you should do so. Why are you hesitating? We have all seen what you are capable of. If you wish to throw me out, do so," Kayla said.
