Chapitre 31: Training Ark (Part 1)
[I can help you get stronger, its my whole job brat]
Richard paused, considering the system's words. Despite his skepticism and frustration, a glimmer of hope flickered within him. If the system could truly help him, it might be his only chance to make a difference.
Richard: "Fine. Tell me what you can do."
The system responded with a tone that was almost too cheerful given the gravity of the situation.
[Ohoho, buckle up. ill use you until you cant walk anymore]
Richard: "What exactly is going to happen?"
the system pauses for a moment before speaking again
[Oh yea, I should probably explain that. Ahem...]
[I will put you through a training program to improve three key areas]
The yellow hologram expands outwards revealing an image of a flexing muscular arm, a brain and a sword
[I have a training module for physical conditioning, metal fortitude and Combat skill]
Richard stared at the holograms, each representing a crucial aspect of his training.
Richard: "Physical conditioning, mental fortitude, and combat skill, huh? Seems straightforward enough."
[Don't underestimate it, kid. Each module is designed to push you to your absolute limits. And even then this is only the basics before I put you through some real training]
At the mention of this Richard gets slightly nervous but is also finally had enough of the systems attitude
Richard: "Sounds pretty tough... And why do you keep calling me a kid? you were born not even a day ago?"
[You ready to start?]
Richard gets slightly taken a back from the systems response before thinking to himself
Richard: 'he just totally ignored me!'
While Richard was lost in thought the system the system had decided to interrupt him abruptly
[Hello? ...you there?]
Richard snapped back to attention, irritation bubbling up inside him.
Richard: "Yeah, I'm here. Just... trying to wrap my head around all of this. Fine, let's get started. What do I need to do first?"
[Good. We'll start with physical condition- Oh would you look at this?"]
Richard frowned, confused by the system's sudden change in tone.
Richard: "What? What's happening now?"
[It seems you got some donations. unexpected, but this could be useful.]
Richard: "Donations? From who?"
[Wait a bit I will tell you. Let's see what they've given you.]
A holographic interface appeared before Richard, displaying two glowing items. The system began to explain each one.
[The first donation is a set of weighted training clothes. They'll increase in weight as you get stronger, it says its from... HydroVN]
Richard nodded, impressed. He picked up the clothes, feeling their surprising weight. He quickly put them on, feeling the immediate strain on his muscles.
Richard: "Alright, what's the second one?"
[The second donation is called a small world, contains a small world in which the user can enter or forcibly contain others within as long as they have lower System Authority The world itself can be grown using System Authority and it can be modified based on what the user specified as long as the user gives it an item related to such modifications Want grass? Give it some grass same with water and whatever else as long as the world has Enough System Authority it can produce it.]
[It also says its from Kind_Chara]
Richard stared at the two items, his mind racing to comprehend their significance.
Richard: "Weighted training clothes and a small world... I-I what the hell is happening? I never questioned it before but what the hell even are donations?"
[Donations are gifts from {Redacted}'s it basically lets the system make something without needing to use system Authority]
Richard's confusion deepened. The system's cryptic explanation didn't fully clarify things for him.
Richard: "ok... And what is System Authority?"
[Its the power that your system has. You can just consider it my "mana" in a sense. You get to set the amount when you first make the system]
[But your past system and me were automatically generated since you were in no condition to set one up]
Richard: "...damn"
Richard: "so if I wasn't in serious condition when I got the opportunity to make the system I could of made a system that had infinite power and live like a light novel character?"
[Bingo]
Richard's eyes widened at the realization. a door to unimaginable possibilities that had been closed to him from the start.
Richard: "Infinite power... That would've been something."
A mix of regret and curiosity swirling within him. The thought of what he could have achieved with such limitless potential was really frustrating and pissed him off.
Richard: "god dammit... Well that's in the past anyway. Lets just start with this training anyway. no point in regretting the past"
[Hold on I'm just editing one of your donations]
Richard: "Wait Wait! editing it ? what the hell do you mean your editing it! What one are you editing?"
[Just this one]
The holographic interface shifted, displaying the details of one of the donated items. Richard watched intently as the system made adjustments, curious about the modification.

Richard's brow furrowed as he processed the system's explanation. getting more angry gradually as he read through the new description
Richard: "...You damn control freak. I cant even use it anymore!!"
[Don't worry, I was going to make this eventually anyway. But this donation just let me save some authority so I can use it on other things, it takes a while to regenerate System authority you know?]
[Consider it a shortcut. Think of it this way: I'm optimizing our resources for the challenges ahead. You'll thank me later.]
Richard clenched his fists, feeling powerless in the face of the system's authority. before accepting the situation
Richard: "fair enough... I suppose"
[Relax, Richard. It's all part of the process. Trust me, I know what I'm doing.]
Richard's anger flared, but he knew arguing further wouldn't change the situation. Instead, he decided to redirect his focus to something more productive.
Richard: "Let's just move on with the training. Show me what's next. You said physical conditioning right?"
[Don't rush me kid, just wait while I set it up, Oh and before I forget let me do this real quick]
*ping*
A small metallic ping sound echoed throughout the white void emanating from Richard
Richard: "What was that?"
[I just changed your cells to increase in effectiveness and power while in use. basically as long as you train you will get stronger exponentially.]
[I used the left over system authority to do that. See? I'm not totally evil]
Richard's scepticism softened slightly as he processed the system's explanation. Despite its unconventional methods, there seemed to be a logic to its actions.
Richard: "Changed my cells to increase effectiveness? How does that even work?"
The system responded with a hint of amusement.
[Don't think about it too much, your not smart enough to understand it]
Richard frowned at the system's response, a mixture of annoyance and defiance rising within him.
Richard: "Hey, don't talk down to me like that. I deserve an explanation. Since you just edited my body"
The system's holographic form flickered momentarily, as if processing Richard's reaction.
[Apologies, Richard. I didn't mean to offend you. Let me explain in simpler terms. "Me big train mean I'm big strong"]
[Oh! the world is finished loading]
Richard's irritation softened slightly at the system's attempt to anger him by calling him stupid
Richard: "Alright, enough I don't care enough to debate you. What do I need to do for this physical conditioning"
[Oh, I just setup the world to be a large gym, this training module is the easiest one compared to the rest. First you must train until you can bench 100 tons]
Richard blinked in surprise at the system's objective. Bench pressing 100 tons sounded almost absurd
Richard: "100 tons? That's... quite a lot. Especially since I'm starting from scratch"
[Indeed, but you have the enhanced capabilities now. your strength should double every three days from the enhancement and you are already pretty built so you are already at a 200 pound bench]
[So you should hit that goal in 30 days]
Richard took a moment to absorb the system's words. Bench pressing 100 tons in 30 days sounded ambitious
Richard: "Alright, that does not seem too bad. You can just send me there now by the way"
[Transfering...]
[Done!]
Richard blinked, finding himself suddenly in a large, expansive gym within the virtual world the system had created. The weight racks loomed large around him, each loaded with massive plates that seemed almost surreal in size.
Richard: "Whoa..."
The transition had been instantaneous, so it dazed Richard a bit
[Welcome to your new training ground kid, Here, you'll be able to push your limits without any distractions.]
Richard nodded, taking in the surroundings. The gym was well-equipped, with everything he needed for his intense training regimen.
Richard: "Alright, let's get started."
[Remember, your goal is to bench press 100 tons. but I'm going to have you train more than just your chest. But your condition to leave is 100 tons]
Richard "Understood"

If your in the discord then you would of seen that i sayed i would of uploaded last week ago and that i would try to upload every 3 days and the reason why i did not make any announcement for another delay these past 5 days is because.... I'm a little embarrassed
Look red dead redemption had a 70% discount and I could not not playing it for the life of me. Every time i tried to start writing the only thing i could think about was playing rdr2. And let me tell you. this game is sooooooooo good. like how did I not play this before?
Absolutely amazing game. probably top 3 game ever in my opinion

anyway the vote from last chapter was very divided, so in a later chapter I'm going to include Reimu and also not include Reimu at the same time. How will I do that? Just wait and see!

Vote here: Mental fortitude trial edition
1) The Hall of Mirrors - Richard is placed in a seemingly endless hall of mirrors. Each mirror reflects different versions of himself: some show him at his weakest, others at his most powerful, and some distort his image entirely. Upon succeeding he will be able to use body related magic since he will be aware of who he is(Will lead to him being in control of his entire body)
2) Isolation Chamber - Richard is placed in a completely silent, featureless room with no sensory input for an extended period. he will need to dodge a sword slash to pass the trial. To complete he will need to learn intuition (May lead Richard to learn embodiment of cut in the next trial)
