What was his intention? If only he knew about it. He was there to seduce her, to snatch her from Cassian. He wanted to say he loved her and marry her so she abandoned Cassian.

He could leave her in the long run. Or he might fulfill this marriage. He did not have any rules for who would be the empress as long as he could enjoy Cassian's struggle every day.

But when he stared into her deep eyes, he felt she knew.

  She would be more disappointed if he would propose to her at this moment. So, he had to decide slowly.

"I have desires for you." He accepted as he groaned when he had to take his hands away from her waist.

"I am sure you have desires for me too. But I do not know how far I can reach you. I do not know what you are expecting from me." He shook his head and ran a hand in his hair in frustration when the tension in her eyes melted.

She chuckled and nodded her head. Of course, he did not know. But she was relieved that he did not know.
