Chapitre 80: A Mad Dog

"What did you say?" Harold stood up and glared at his son.

"How dare you raise your voice in front of me? You! Do you think you hold power because you are my only son? You know I can still give the empire to Cassian and let you die at his hands?

You only hold power because you are my son. No one will look at you if I abandon you!" He warned him, but Nick just laughed.

He looked at his father as if he was amused by his anger.

"I know! We do not have power but this crown has. I understand it well, Father. You must be tired after all that shouting. You should rest." Harold was surprised and confused when Nick stepped back.

"Send him out. I did not want to see his face." Harold grumbled when the knights followed the prince out. 

He stared at his son with narrowed eyes when he took a step back, bowed his head, and left the room.
