Chapitre 52: Convincing The Earl

Roxana looked carefully at the inside of Earl Knox's house. She realized that there were no high-priced antiques in his house, whereas every nobleman often accumulated antiques and luxurious things in their houses to show their wealth to guests.

Earl Knox probably didn't buy such things because he thought it was better to use his money to find medicine for his daughter. Moreover, he often brought healers from outside the continent, so Roxana believed Earl Knox had to spend so much money for Lona's recovery.

However, although the house had no luxurious items, the atmosphere was very warm, as the furniture was dominated by wood. 

Every corner of the house also looked clean without a hint of dust, making the house became a cozy place for a sick person like Lona.

"My Lady, can you tell me the information you know about the cure?" asked Earl Knox once they were seated on the sofa.
