Kian didn't cry. He was able to somehow pull himself together, despite the strong scent of despair he exuded. "I'll go first, it would be troublesome if we were caught together." Kian said and opened the car door, looking everywhere but at me.

"Kian—" I stressed wanting to go after him, but he tossed my shirt back at me and sent me a glare.

"Don't screw this up." He said before disappearing into the estate. A hiss escaped my lips, as my frustrated fingers ran through my locks of hair, my eyes worriedly watching him leave.

Afterwards, I didn't get to lay eyes on Kian the entire day, as Alpha I was shuffled around the place, making sure every thing was perfect down to the last detail. And before I knew it, the day waned into night, announcing the commencement of the anticipated hunt.
