Chapitre 302: Present

"What is this place?" Eve looked around the walls of the cave. She touched them and realized that they were indeed hard like rocks yet... they looked like mud, to be more exact; they looked like petrified mud.

Who would have thought that under the house, there would be a cave like this?

"Just a simple cave... The place was ancient. It was created by magic—hundreds, perhaps thousands of years ago," Max said. Despite the fact that both of them could see in the dark, Max was still holding a lamp in his hand. "No one is allowed to come here... That would explain the antiquity in the air."

Eve nodded. She, too, could smell it. There was something about this place that felt ancient, dry, and rotting. However, right now, she could not see anything aside from the endless winding cave walls in front of them.
