"So, how do we know this guy again?" Mark asked as he walked with Meredith and the rest to the house.
Meredith roll her eyes, "He is my cousin, and you don't know him. Me and my friends know him, I just figured this was also a good time to introduce you to my family."
"Still can't believe you two are actually married and that you hid that from everyone Mer. I mean does your family even know?" Christina asked looking more uncomfortable the closer they got to the house.
"Well..." She chuckled nervously.
"That is code for, 'Of course they don't know.' if you all didn't understand." Alex cut in with his signature smile anticipating the reactions that this would all cause.
Meredith ignored them as they all began talking over one another as she rung the doorbell, she took on a deep breath as Ryan opened the door with a smirk, "What's up Merbear, something wrong?"
She glared at him, "Everything is fine Ryan, how is grandmother's mood today?"
He chuckled bringing her in as her friends followed, "Her favorite grandson graduated today, how do you think she is doing."
Ryan laughed as Meredith mumbled under her breath, it wasn't a kept secret or anything that Ryan was the favorite, he was always seen specially in her eyes for some reason that she would never explain. While he enjoyed it the rest of the family always seemed to have something to say about it, which he didn't care much about.
As they entered the party Ryan noticed a new man that was brought with them, he didn't put much thought into it though as he didn't really care enough to, his grandmother was the one who extended he invite. He didn't notice that the man seemed to stick close to Meredith or would just send her looks every few moment, which had him raising a brow at that.
"So Meredith, who is the new guy?" Ryan asked as he stood in the middle of the room with everyone hearing his voice. He could see the smiles that took over her friends face as it was asked.
Meredith looks nervous as she shot a look to their grandmother before letting out a sigh, "Everyone, I want you all to meet....my husband Mark Sloan."
The room went silent as Ryan stood with Leah and Rosalie while looking over to see their grandmother's reaction, he obviously didn't care but that didn't mean that he still wasn't going to enjoy the show. Their grandmothers face hardened as she looked at Meredith and Mark making Meredith look small, he noticed Mark slip and arm around her though.
He smirked as she leaned into him, "Married? And why was I not made aware of the wedding then?" Their grandmother asked in a clipped voice.
Meredith stumbled over her words before Mark took over, "That is my fault, I was just so crazy about her that I ended up sweeping her off her feet and marrying her without anyone knowing."
Meredith looked grateful at that.
Their grandmother though wasn't a fool, "Mhmm, Mark is it? You can speak all you want but I know my granddaughter, which means I know that...."
"That we are happy as long as Meredith is happy." Ryan said cutting in as he could see that she was not going in a favorable place with her words.
She shot him a glare but his mother also spoke up at this moment, "Yes, we are just hoping you are happy Meredith, wouldn't want Ryan hurting him for hurting you."
Mark chuckled, "Haha, I don't know. I think I can take him."
Ryan's smile was feral as he looked to Mark making the older man gulp, "They won't find the body." Ryan said his grin growing wider.
Meredith rolled her eyes but he could see she was happier as he stood up for her, "Thank you Ryan."

The party passed after that but their grandmother was more tense, she also had insisted on making sure that Meredith and Mark had a wedding, she wouldn't make then divorce but she would make them marry properly. So towards the end of the summer they would be having a proper wedding, something Meredith was nervous and excited about if her look was anything to go by.
It was now the next day and Ryan was sighing as he lifted his travel bag, "Are you sure neither of you wants to come?" He asked again as he prepared to leave.
Leah shook her head, "I am going on a trip with the family. I will be away at college for awhile, so I want to spend all the time I can with them before that happens. I will meet you at the house that we are renting by the time you get there though."
Rosalie also shook her head, "And New York is just a little to sunny for me. I am just going to head to the house and set it up before the two of you arrive, I will also be planting all of your plants there. Your mom and I talked yesterday she already plans to sell this house."
He nodded at them, "Fine. Call me if anything happens though, I don't want to find out that Claudia got to one of you while I was away, the world might not like that very much."
"Why is that?" Leah asked with a raised brow as they walked down the stairs.
"Because it will burn if I lose either one of you." He said passionately before brining in Leah for a deep kiss who had no problem returning it. When she finally pulled back it was now Rosalie's turn who was more then eager to return his kiss, that lasted for another five minutes before she pulled back.
Finally when they finished Leah spoke up, "Just don't go off and bring back another girl. You already have like ten after you, we really don't need more coming after you."
Ryan chuckled nervously as he looked away, there were things in New York that ha happened before his time in Forks, there was no guarantee that he wouldn't have someone else latching on to him. All he could do was nod his head, but even he didn't have a good feeling about being able to escape New York without another girl being swooned by him.
Especially when he would be there for a week and at the same time he had old.... acquaintances there so there was no telling. From the looks on their faces they knew it to and could only shake their heads.
"Just know that if you cheat I will be cutting off your penis, I won't be cheated on again. No matter the circumstances." Leah growled out as she tightly grabbed his junk making him grunt in pain.
"And I will hold you down as she does so." Rosalie said too sweetly as she kissed his cheek not helping or telling Rosalie to move her hand at all.
*Cough* They all turned to see his mother there with an amused smile, "I am glad to see you training him, but we need to get going. Your grandmother might have brought the private jet, but we still have a flight schedule to keep."
Walking over she hugged and kissed Rosalie and Leah on the cheek, "And you two make sure to take care of yourselves, I already see you as my daughters. I don't want anything happening to you."
Both girls smiled brightly at that, "You two Rachel, and please watch out for Ryan for us."
"Oh, I will try my best. We all know him though." Rachel joked making them all chuckle some.
"Well seeing where I stand I will go see the one person in this house who actually loves me. I love you two and I will see you in a month." Ryan said waving as he walked down the stairs.
He heard laughing behind him as he did so, he had said goodbye to his Beta Meredith last night as her and French Fries were now making their way over to the new house he got from his grandmother. She planned to meet them there, and would also be making sure that everything was fine.
Getting into the kitchen he looped his arm through his grandmothers while walking out the door, "Come along grandmother, mother will meet us there. I have already said my goodbyes so we don't need to wait on them."
She chuckled but nodded, "Alright dear let's go. And just so you know, I approve of both."
He smiled happy to know that.
