Ervian smiled, aware that Leriat had a serious side, unlike Adelle. "Do you know who Evan is?"

Leriat shook his head, indicating his lack of familiarity with the name. "Uh, I'm not familiar with that name."

Ervian's smile faded slightly, realizing that Leriat had no knowledge of Evan. "Not even late Mrs. Claire mentioned him?"

Leriat shook his head again, this time more deliberately, acknowledging his lack of information.

As it became apparent, not everyone was aware of the existence of the holder of the other split part of the Elementalist system.

However, Adelle was an exception to this. Thanks to her acquaintance with Lefazio and her penchant for reading books, particularly Alesta's journal, which happened to be Ervian's mentor at that time, she had learned about Evan.

Leriat's loyalty and commitment as a knight to Ervian were not something that could be easily dismissed or taken lightly, unlike Adelle's playful antics.
