Chapitre 45: Chapter 45 New Blood

Grace’s POV

“Oh, Alpha! We’re home!” Chris’s sweet voice carried through the large hallways. “And I have a present for you!”

One week!

I’d been alpha for one week when Chris came home from training and those were the first words out of his mouth. And as I’d quickly learned, any time that Chris was that happy, it usually meant a migraine for me.

“What did you do this time, Chris?” I asked with a groan as I pushed off my seat in the main living room, that faced the backyard. I’d finally taken the time to sit down with Toni and Laura, the castle’s “housekeeper” to make a list of things that needed maintenance.

Not to mention an upgrade!

Luckily the castle wasn’t falling apart, but Toni and Laura were two she-wolves that everybody expected to keep up with 90+ members. And we were talking cleaning, dusting, repairs, and laundry. And seriously, you’d be surprised how much coordination went into laundry day when you didn’t have a dryer and two washing boards!
