Chapitre 3: what I feared most

<p> Val pov(NARRATOR)<br/> After what happened,there was not even a single word from my dad or is where about, for two weeks now,mom was worried and bittered at the same time,but she didn't allow it to affect our life's,she then decided to apply for a job in one of the hospital in America,I was not happy about it nor did I approve of it,well the reason was simple,I was already used to my mom allows being there whenever I needed her.<br/><br/> Be it school work,house work,my personal work(playing, dancing e.t.c)in as much as I didn't like it I couldn't do anything to stop her after she had explained the situation to me,I just hated my dad the more.mom applied for the job and thank God they gave her the job and the pay was good).<br/><br/>      Now you can continue living a life of a princess(mom said to me that Saturday evening,I could see the pain in her eyes) mom?are you alright?(I asked)yes my val,am fine(mom replied,I knew she was not saying the truth but I kept quiet,mom got up from the couch)where are you going?(I asked)to prepare dinner(mom answered) okay,let's go(I said then got up from the couch too)are you serious?(mom asked,she was surprised because it was the first time that I will be helping her in the kitchen).<br/><br/>   Yes mom,I promise to be your help mate(I promised with a smile)sure,sure,come (mom responded then we went to the kitchen,we prepared rice and chicken stew(it was really fun),why don't you go and set the dinning table(mom said as she dish the food in the plate)alright mom(i said cheerfully and left,after we finish eating,we went to bed,i slept in my mom's room that day too).<br/><br/>     It was a Sunday afternoon,I was watching TV(well it was a news channel)in the living room,when I saw my dad and a woman being wedded in a church)what the hell?(I asked myself on seeing the news,with what the reporter said,the woman is the owner of Leah shopping mall(one of the biggest mall in United kingdom)I was really shocked).<br/><br/> How could dad stup so low,to marry this ugly thing,it's ridiculous(I said to myself,the woman was not ugly but she was not as beautiful as my mom and that was the plain truth,I quickly turn off the TV,I breath in and out as tears rolled down my cheeks)how could dad be this heartless,he lied about loving us(I said as I sobber).<br/><br/>      Noo!!! Dave!!(I heard my mom screaming from the kitchen,I quickly cleaned my eyes then I rushed to the kitchen.when I got to there,I saw my mom on the floor,she looked at me(what I feared most as happened)I could see as tears rolled down her cheek.<br/><br/>     i tried to be brave but burst into tears too,I ran to meet her then I started consoling her(I placed her head on my chest)I started rubbing her back,she rap her hands around my back and we continue to cry).</p>
