Chapitre 253: Motives

If a group of people surrounded someone after intentionally following them to a secluded location then their motives could be easily guessed.

There were very few reasons available that could be considered as the most likely explanation for them acting like that.

They had either chosen to target Max and Ash some time ago and had decided to wait for their chance to strike.

If that was the case then it would either be a robbery or just a random act of violence that was done by a group who enjoyed harming others without needing a reason to do it.

Either of those was slightly possible but it was likely that Max or Ash may have recognised them if they had walked by them preciously when they caught the interest of such a group.

It was difficult to see them enough in the current environment but there were always things that could help to trigger the memory of a person to help remember where they had seen a person.
