"Another child," Nathaniel said as he looked at his lovely wife. "You're amazing."
Maya hugged Nathaniel who was still balancing their son in his other arm. She began to cry as the news set in.
"Oh no, Mommy doesn't want another baby," Gabriel gasped, his tone wasn't exactly sad, but that was normal for kids.
"No, no," Maya said, shaking her head and laughing. "I wanted to give you siblings Gabriel."
"Oh," Gabriel said, his expression unreadable.
Nathaniel laughed at his son. It seemed that the little boy was torn between wanting to be a big brother and wanting to be an only child for the family to dote on.
"You know, if you have a little brother or sister you will just be like Mommy and Daddy," Nathaniel told his son, kissing the top of his head. "Mommy has younger siblings like Uncle Nico, Uncle Ryan, and Auntie Belle, while Daddy has Uncle Ezra and Auntie Emilia."
