"You're quite perceptive. As expected of his son," the man's voice once again sounded, his tone left a tinge of intrigue to anyone who could hear his words. Then he added an explanation to what Xagrien noticed. "It's because something's about to disappear."
"What is it?" Luis flew faster to match the pace of the minion. But since there is a big vinegar bottle latching at his hands he has no choice but to pull the added weight with him.
Xagrien expressionlessly let himself be dragged by his mate.
"You should be thankful that…" he murmured.
The moon elf lord isn't sure the brute purposely cut the rest of the sentence but this certainly pulled his attention.
Luis only cast a side glance at Xagrien and used telepathy to say to the man, [I will make you cry once all of these are done, Daddy!]
Just in time, the man replied in a hoarse voice, "You will see later."
