Chapitre 94: Chapter 87: Armageddon

"Don't act like you know me," Nekonyan retorted sharply, his expression guarded.

Bors interjected, sensing the tension in the air, "Let's focus on the matter at hand. We're here to find a resolution, not to exchange pleasantries."

"Agreed," I replied smoothly, maintaining my composed facade. "So why are you guys here?"

"For a truce," Surshana spoke up, surprising me, as he was usually the most silent one among the group.

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by their proposition. "A truce, you say? That's rather unexpected, considering our previous encounters."

"What are your terms for this 'truce' you speak of?" I inquired, seeking clarity on the terms of the proposed agreement.

"Our terms are simple. We propose a ceasefire, allowing both sides to withdraw their forces and engage in diplomatic negotiations." Surshana's proposal of a ceasefire drew a skeptical response from me, my laughter cutting through the tension that lingered in the air.

"And stab me in the back when you have an opening. Quite the plan you have there. Who proposed this? Must be Hougan, as he is the only one who would propose such a cowardly method," I remarked, my tone laced with amusement.

"Either way, I don't have any intention to make peace. I am here to bring war, and that's it," My words were met with silence before Leo, towering above me with his immense stature, came to stand in front of me. Despite my commanding presence, I couldn't help but feel dwarfed by his sheer size.

For a moment, we stood locked in a silent exchange, the weight of our respective powers palpable in the air around us. Then, Leo spoke, his voice resonating with a deep rumble that reverberated through the battlefield.

"We have an army of 70 million. What do you have? You only have three NPCs (Albedo, Antares, and Shalltear)." Leo said.

"It seems you failed your math class, as you don't even know the total number of your troops." Hearing this, Leo turned to his companions, asking who leaked the information.

"There was an incident. He kidnapped Evileye, one of the high-ranking members of Black Scripture, and Princess Renner, the Golden Princess. The report was on parchment, which I gave to you," Bors said to Leo.

Leo's expression darkened at the revelation. "So that's how he knew..."

Bors nodded solemnly. "Yes, it seems our information security has been compromised."

Leo turned back to me, his gaze piercing. "Regardless, our army still outnumbers yours significantly. You don't even have the Great Tomb of Nazarick to hide in."

"That's where you are wrong." *Snap* I said, snapping my fingers to emphasize my coolness.

'Friday, Release the camouflage of Nazarick.'

[As you wish, Sir.] Friday's response resonated in my mind as the 1st level camouflage of Nazarick lifted, revealing the imposing structure hidden beneath.

The Great Tomb of Nazarick, a colossal tomb-shaped fortress, emerged from its concealed state, casting a shadow over the battlefield. Its dark and ominous presence sent a ripple of unease through both the Great Gods and the Greed Kings who witnessed its unveiling.

As the camouflage dissipated, the intricate details of Nazarick became visible—the towering spires, the elaborate architecture, and the foreboding aura that emanated from its depths.

From within the depths of Nazarick, the army of Death began to emerge, their presence heralded by the sound of marching footsteps and the clanking of armour. Rows upon rows of undead soldiers, led by powerful guardians and terrifying monsters, spilt forth from the fortress, their hollow eyes fixed upon the opposing forces with unyielding resolve.

A formidable display of power unfolded before the eyes of the Great Gods and the Greed Kings. Dragons soared through the sky, their massive wings casting ominous shadows over the battlefield, while demons and angels alike marched side by side, their otherworldly forms exuding an aura of primal energy.

Elves and Fairies fought together as comrades, their ranks bolstered by the inclusion of vampires and werewolves, their feral instincts tempered by a common cause. Titans and giants stomped across the earth, their colossal forms dwarfing all who stood before them, while golems of stone and steel moved with mechanical precision, their movements synchronized to perfection.

Each member of the Nazarick, from the lowliest skeleton to the mightiest dragon, radiated a palpable sense of power and purpose, their determination to vanquish their foes evident in every step they took. As they assembled on the battlefield, their combined might was a testament to the overwhelming force that awaited anyone who dared to challenge them.

With their ranks now fully arrayed, the army of Death stood poised and ready for battle, their eyes gleaming with a fierce determination to emerge victorious. The air crackled with anticipation as the tension between the opposing forces reached its peak, signalling the imminent clash that would determine the fate of nations and the course of history.

It was a sight that struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest warriors, for they knew that they faced not just a mortal army, but a force of darkness that defied death itself.

The envoys' faces paled as they could already see the outcome of the battle.

Facing Ancient One alone is a suicide mission but now it seems like the odds are even more daunting with the imposing presence of Nazarick. The legendary fortress loomed ominously on the horizon, casting a shadow over the battlefield and instilling a sense of dread in the hearts of all who beheld it.

The envoys, once filled with bravado, now felt a chill run down their spines as they gazed upon the formidable structure.

"I brought the war. You just need to fight and survive. And you don't have to worry; I will not hide inside Nazarick like a coward. Killing me is your only option, and then the war will end."

Bors stepped forward, his expression a mixture of defiance and desperation. "You madman, you are going to massacre innocent people," he accused, his voice trembling with righteous indignation.

My eyes narrowed as I regarded Bors with a cool detachment. "That's why I am calling this an Armageddon," I declared, "The fight between good and bad. Against heroes and the madman. Kill me and you will get your freedom."
