Chapitre 26: I want to be all rounder trainer

Confused, she called disconnected the phone and after making sure of it again, she called. but no one answered, she called again, and finally got through.
"Hello, is this Jun? grandson of grandma Helena?"

Jun then grabbed his phone from Eevee and Beldum who was having a heated debate on weather news in his phone.
"Hello? Who is it?" Jun asked back
Pinery head was full of black lines, who answered the phone this time?

"Hello?" Jun look at his phone, its still connecting
"Hello, I am Pinery, are you Jun grandsone of grandma Helena?" Finally there is a female voice asked back.
Jun raised his eyebrows, 'So fast?'
"Ah yes, I am Jun" he replied
Finally Pinery showed a relief expression, they then discussed about something and after reached an agreement both closed their phones.
Jun looked at Eevee and Beldum who looking at each other and growled each other and sighed. He wanted to stop it but thinking maybe Beldum can stimulated Eevee timid personality? Let them be. he then began to search about other things

At four o'clock in the evening, Jun and Pinery sat down together at a cafe near the harbour in Vermillion City. Pinery looked at Jun's paper while Jun fed Eevee a Poke muffin.
After a while, Pinery nodded, and as she glanced at the interaction between Jun and Eevee, she smiled. It was the first time since she arrived, and upon seeing Eevee on Jun's head, she thought to herself, 'That must be the Eevee on the phone.'
Pinery looked at Eevee, who was beside Jun's and munching its muffin , and then looked at Jun, she smiled and said, "You two are very close."
Jun nodded and replied, "Of course, he's my partner."
Pinery then proceeded to explain the details, including the pros and cons of publishing on their platform and the fact that Jun is only 11 years old and needs a guarantee. But this was easy to solve, as his guaranteeing was already verified.
Jun only nodded. To be honest, he didn't care much about that. He only needed a simple article so that he could be verified as an official Pokemon scholar - one that has been verified and has official results.
'Speaking of this…' Jun's eyes flashed.
He looked at Eevee, who was by his side, and said, "Actually, I originally just wanted to help Eevee overcome the weaknesses brought about by its personality. After all, I am a trainer. Jun shook his head and replied, "I plan to be a trainer, scholar, and maybe even a breeder too."
Pinery was startled and emphasized, "Even though being a Pokemon trainer, scholar, and breeder may seem similar, they are actually very different. Despite being in the same path, battling, researching, and breeding require vastly different skills and knowledge. are you sure about this?"
Jun nodded confidently.
His answer startled her once again, but then she thought, 'Grandma Helena an associater professor, Grandpa a marquess, Father Gym leader, Mother breeder expert.. It must be on his DNA. but maybe after he knew the difficulties he will changed his mind' Pinery only smiled
Who doesn't have a dream to become an all-rounder trainer? To become a researcher, breeding expert, and a trainer all at once – every kid has their aspirations. However, when reality hits them hard, they will humble themselves. Pinery only nodded and smiled. She then took out her Pokéball and released her Eevee

Jun's Eevee was startled. Then it hopped down from the table and looking at this Eevee curiously. Jun only glance at it slightly.

Pinery smiled and said, "It's an Eevee that I gave a nickname to. There's research about the benefits of giving Pokemon nicknames from a renowned Pokemon Professor. According to the research, giving a Pokemon a nickname not only differentiates it from others, but it also increases the intimacy between the Pokemon and its trainer.
