Chapitre 345: I do owe you Lucian

With a sigh, Lucian pulled Ariana into an embrace and comforted her, patting her back and assuring her that nothing bad would happen.

Lucian detested seeing Ariana upset about anything. He did, however, realize that some things are beyond his control and are inevitable.

Ariana hummed and wrapped her arms around his waist, holding him in that position for a while.

"Better?" Lucian inquired after some time and she nodded with a slow retreat.

The two then walked to the bed and lay next to each other before Lucian drew her closer and she slept, resting her head on his chest.

While Ariana could not sleep a wink and stayed wide awake, Lucian continued to caress her arm for a while before sleep finally overcame his thoughts.

Though she did manage to elude Lucian's attention, was it acceptable for her to tell him a falsehood?
