Chapitre 42: Chapter 42 Uniting

The three combatants froze, looking around to see where the shots had come from. A dark figure emerged from the shadows, holding a smoking gun.

It was Sergeant Lucas, him and the rest of his army had returned to the school. His intense gaze met Ray's, his finger still on the trigger, ready to shoot again if necessary.

Ray's face contorted with a mix of anger and fear, realizing that he was now cornered by not just one, but three adversaries. He briefly hesitated, weighing his options, but his bloodlust got the better of him. He decided to take his chances and make a final desperate move.

With a snarl, Ray lunged towards the Sergeant, using his vampire speed to try and catch him off guard. Sergeant Lucas reacted quickly, firing several shots in rapid succession. Two bullets hit Ray, one in the shoulder and another in the leg, causing him to stumble.
