Chapitre 442: A day in court

Chi Lian, bear, Chi Rui and both Chi parents were surprisingly here for the first hearing of the case. 

The court room was filled to the brim with people including press, fans and ordinary citizens who did not want to miss out on enjoying the drama. Even before hearing of the case could begin cameras were flashing loudly. 

The four lawyers who were permanent members of the Phoenix media department were ready and eager like carnivorous animals waiting to sink their fangs into some soft deer meat.  This was their first court case as Phoenix media lawyers, they wanted to prove their worth because the boss was here. 

This was different from dealing with contracts and agreements in the office. This was a chance for them to show off.

Perhaps it was overkill for all four of them to show up for something as simple as this case but they did not care. They had to show the power of the company.
