Chapitre 170: He protects her in the dark.

The old nanny that had been taking care of Muyang since his infant days was positively surprised. 'So the rumors are true.' She thought. 'The young master does have a woman.' 

Ever since she had been taking care of him, this was the first woman he had brought home. It meant he was serious about her. This was good news; hopefully the young master would marry soon.

"Do you need me to help her with her bath?" she offered gladly.

"No, nanny Fang, I will take care of that."

The nanny pulled air into her nose in shock.  Not only did the young master have a woman but their relationship had also progressed to such an intimate level already.

As Muyang walked past the nanny and carried Chi Lian upstairs to his bedroom, she followed behind him. "Should I prepare some soup or sugar water for her?"

The nanny assumed Chi Lian was tired or suffering from menstrual cramps which could explain why Muyang was carrying her.
