Opening or cutting of stones was always done where the public could view the process. And this is why the young man moved to his specialized working area near the entrance of the shop to open the jade.

"Oh, someone has bought stones from this cursed shop, everyone, come and see this unlucky individual." Someone loudly shouted and drew the attention of the masses.

The man that shouted was darting back and forth with shifty eyes. He smiled evilly from the side after shouting.

From his actions, Chi Lian could tell that this was done with malicious intent. She just couldn't identify the mastermind as of yet.
