Chapitre 369: Addicted To Sugar

"Dinner is served," 

Issac and Maxi were seated at the dining table when Kayla served the food. 

Maxi leaned forward and inhaled the tantalizing aroma with her eyes closed before opening them to exclaim, "This smells so good!" She added, looking at Isaac pointedly," And I bet it tastes good as well." 

At once, Issac choked on his saliva, a red flush starting in his neck, and worked upward. 

"Are you okay, my love?" Maxi feigned ignorance, reaching for the cup of water as Issac coughed hard, batting at his face as tears stung his eyes. 

Issac could not utter a word, reaching for the cup instead and downing the water, feeling better afterward. 

"What's wrong?" Oma came out of the kitchen to check what was happening.
