Chapitre 291: The Couple Race

"Just let him be, huh? He's simply not worth it." Islinda begged Eli frantically, tugging his sleeves and looking him in the eyes with a pitiful pout he couldn't ignore. She was just so tired of the fights and violence. She was supposed to enjoy this date, not regret the horrible ending. 

Eli blinked up at Islinda in surprise, this was the first time she was trying to act all cute around him and it tugged at his chest. If only he could kiss her, such a mean, little heartbreaker. Instead, he pressed his lips to her forehead and kissed her there for a full minute with his eyes closed. 

When Eli opened his eyes, she stared into the blue of his eyes burning with a tenderness that could melt even the hardest of hearts and it was reserved only for her. Her heart swelled with joy, and a little bit of possessiveness, he was all hers. No one else. At Least for today.
