Chapitre 90: Oh, Shit

Turns out the book I had stolen from the library was a recipe book written in Arabic. I didn't know what I had been expecting but it wasn't that. I was hitting a rock with my research about what to do if Alexander's mistress decided to make a comeback. 

Don't get me wrong, I trusted that Kai and Zeus were doing everything to try and figure out how to prepare for her if she came but I wanted to help. At the end of my day, it was my body she wanted to take over. 

"Are you going somewhere? " Zeus asked when I showed up to the living room wearing jeans, stilettos, and a cropped sweater. 

Kai was at work so it was just me and him at the penthouse. 

"Yeah. Bianca will be here in like ten minutes. She and I are going out. " I answered. 

Zeus laughed and turned to fully look at me. His eyes raked my body in appreciation before he brought them back to my face. 

"So, the two of you are friends now? " He asked.
