Chapitre 260: REDEMPTION

"Oh Lucas, my head, it hurts" Magdalene groaned in her sleep.

"Shhh. It will be alright" He comforted and caressed her hair and kissed her forehead. She groaned a few more times before finally falling deep asleep.

By morning, during the time of breakfast. Lady Anastasia continually blabbered about the wedding of Magdalene. Meanwhile Theodora was quiet and nervous. She couldn't bring herself to look at the Lord considering the situation she found herself in yesterday. Magdalene was calm but pale and weak looking.

"Lady Magdalene are you alright. you don't look too well" Anastasia asked in concern. The eyes of everyone at the dinning table went to her.

"Preparing for a wedding in such a short period to time must be extremely tiring" Cordelia spoke out and everyone agreed. Magdalene gave a small weak smile and went back to eating.
