Chapitre 230: THE ROYAL HOME

With every step Magdalene took her heart took a leap. She was scared and nervous for what would happen. Just as Magdalene arrived at the dinning hall she froze. Unable to move a limb, her eyes caught the figure of a woman who looked fifty or thereabouts. She had some features resembling Magdalene a little. There were few wrinkles on her face but it couldn't hide the fact that she was a great beauty in her time.

"Grandmother" Magdalene whispered to herself unknowingly.

"Milady" The maid with her called, and she blinked out of her rivalry. The queen too noticed Magdalene presence and when her eyes caught Magdalene face she became dumbstruck as her spoon fell to the ground causing prince Bernard to turn around and look who it was.

"Mother" He called her and she smiled a little.

"I was shocked a little" She said to her son sheepishly.
