Just as Lucas had instructed, Magdalene had spent the whole day in her room without going close to the window or a knife. Lydia would always come with food or to come keep her company. She groaned tiredly after seating and walking around the room the whole day. She was deadly tired and wanted to go outside but recalling Lord Lucas words she just sat still until another knock came hard on the door.

"Come in!" Magdalene said thinking it was Lydia but no one said anything. She heard the knock again and again but every time she said a come in she would see no one.

Angry and frustrated she went to open the door but still saw no one. She frowned Wondering who was playing a trick on her. Just as she was about to close the door she heard a soft voice.
