Magdalene halted her steps and turned to look at Katherine who was obviously going to make trouble.

"Yes Katherine" She answered looking straight at the girl.

A resounding slap that took Magdalene unawares landed on her cheek. She stumbled and held her cheek looking at the lady in surprise.

Magdalene couldn't believe that the vampire could actually hit her, she was unprepared and the slap came so fast. She cleaned the blood stain at the side of her mouth and glared at the lady.

"You little whore. How dare you look me in the eye and address me by my name" Katherine yelled at her.

Some of the servants around that time were shocked to witness the scene that had just taken place.

Magdalene stared unwavering at her, She got fed up and turned to leave but the vampire quickly held her arm and dragged her over.
