Chapitre 342: Njar, part 2

Cael eyed Astnar and Niko with a frown. Thankfully, both of them weren't the kind to start throwing punches from anger, but the air in the captain's cabin was still thick with drama.

Astnar returned his stoic expression, and only a slight frown now marred his features. Niko, on the other hand, exuded bitterness even without looking anywhere but in his cup. For once, Cael smelled that it was only normal tea inside.

Since he was still an arbiter in this strange reunion, Cael gestured to Niko. "Go first, please. I think we all need to hear at least some clarifications. And should we call you Niko or Njar?"

"I like 'Niko' better. Njar is a jotun name—and I'm not much of a jotun," Niko snorted. "Some even argued that my mother walked on the side…"

"Slander," Astnar spat out. "Even with this ridiculous human haircut, you are still my son. Although your drinking habit seems to have worsened."
