After putting the hound on the ground, I followed Acacius and the others into the cave. It was time for us to discuss what to do next. At this time, I was sure I could trust them. They hadn't done anything against me. Therefore, I decided to listen to them. 

When we entered the cave, I could tell that these demons had lived here for quite a while. They had likely moved in here immediately following the departure of the gods when the attacks started. There were sounds of life all over the place. 

There were makeshift beds spread out and covering the floor. Tables had candles and food in various locations. Clothes were hanging from lines in various places around the cave. And a few other things that showed there were people living here.
