Sharleen closed the distance between them by heading towards Paskha and gripping the shoulders of the clueless boy. "Paskha! Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?"

Little Paskha tilted his head in confusion and wondered what made Sharleen think he got such an injury. What's even more strange, Sharleen's aquamarine eyes were moist, and she could detect a note of panic and worry in the girl's voice.

"I am alright. What is it? Why are you—" Paskha couldn't continue his words because Sharleen unexpectedly hugged his neck.

"I thought you'd be like the others too."

Paskha did not understand what was happening. But when he felt hands trembling around his neck, Paskha patted Sharleen's back gently. "Be like the others? What do you mean? Sharleen, calm down first and speak slowly. What happen?"
