Chapitre 119: Trick 118: Madman Wanda, buried alive
Eventually, he came to a building in the middle of a park.
He tucked away his broom and jumped onto a tree, climbing down and meowing as he ran around.
He saw Ultron bots walking around and frowned to himself as he meowed, turning towards the building, seemingly chasing something as he made his way to the door slowly.
The Ultron bots looked at him, they scanned him and deemed him a non threat, therefore just ignoring him.
Ace curled his lips and continued playing until clapping his paws together as he tumbled into the building, landing on his back. He rocked back and forth, looking around secretly before flipping over and walking around in 'confusion', meowing.
Ace wandered around in the facility, blindly, pretending to be a normal cat. The Ultron bots basically ignored him, Ace was counting on it because 1. he was sure he wasn't in this universe.
The Pizza dude who was punching himself would've recognized him.
Secondly! He knew very well how Ultron worked. He was only interested in killing the Avengers and destroying humanity. He never actually went after anyone that wasn't a threat to him. He only fought the Avengers.
Plus… Ace was pretty sure that the Ultron bots wouldn't vaporize a cat.
He continued moving around the facility, passing by Ultron bots as he looked around, taking in the scenery.
He poked his head through a doorway and looked around to find a bunch of scientists doing whatever it was that they were doing.
Ace wasn't good at things other than magic… It might as well be a language he hasn't learnt. He took his head back and continued walking around, looking in rooms and passing huge spaces full of statues.
He was confused though, where was Tony, Steve, Natasha, Thor, etc… They just weren't here?
He passed by a room and glanced at it before stopping.
He saw a blue Cloak of Levitation, all torn up, as scientists were analyzing it! There was even the red one next to it, getting patched up with the blue one!
The Blue cloak started struggling desperately as the scientists frowned, saying "Calm it down!" another answered "I don't know what's wrong with it!" Ace looked at the cloak and felt it calling him, asking for help.
He got angry.
Very, very angry.
He jumped into the room and morphed into a sabertooth tiger, roaring at the scientists, scaring them out of their wits as they shrieked and ran away.
Ace growled before letting out a dragon roar in the room!
A visible sound wave crushed all the equipment and machinery in the room, sending the scientists flying into a wall, slumping to the ground unconscious.
He growled and the blue cloak flew to him, wrapping around his body and shaking. Ace said gently "It's okay, you stay with me, okay?" The cloak waved a piece, nodding at him.
Ace patted it with a paw, saying "I'll fix you, don't worry. You'll become something better." he turned to the other cloak and said "Come, we'll find your master." the cloak flew to him and wrapped around Ace as he walked out of the room.
He was met with a group of Ultron bots saying "Halt!" Ace growled and pounced on the Ultron bots, crushing them between his jaws and smashing them to bits with his paws. His throat rolled and he blasted out a pillar of flames, incinerating a path and he ran through the halls.
Alarms went off and Ace looked around as Ultron bots flew after him. He turned to a wall and lunged at it, slapping with his paw, turning it to explosive cards as they flew towards the robots all around him, exploding violently and shaking the building.
Meanwhile
Strange was in a room as the building shook, he held his hands up and said "That would be her." a woman looked at a screen and frowned "No… It's an animal?" Mordo looked at the screen saying "He has both of the Cloaks with him. That is no animal. This is magic!"
Another woman stood up, smirking "Then we just take care of him. The witch should be here soon anyway." just as she finished speaking, another screen appeared with Wanda on it as she tore Ultron bots to shreds, walking into the building.
Ace smashed into a room and stamped on the ground, roaring all around as the Ultron bots exploded violently.
The first woman picked up a shield and said "I will go for the Animal Wizard." Another man said "I'll come with you." the other woman said "Blackbolt, you're with me." as they headed off, leaving Mordo and an old man with Strange.
Ace landed in a big room with statues just as Wanda walked in. They looked at each other and Ace growled, stalking around the room slowly. Wanda curled her lips into an eerie grin as she lit up with red magic.
Ace's eyes turned bright purple as electrical arcs of magic escaped his eyeballs, crackling all around him as he grew into a giant Sabertooth. Wanda looked up at him and grinned "Here kitty kitty~"
Ace's fangs lit up with purple runes as Wanda floated to eye level, before they could start, the 4 from the room flew by.
Ace roared and knocked the Vibranium shield away, turning to a woman with Cap's shield, growling.
The Shield bounced back to her hands and she said "Wizard! Return to normal and surrender. You have Illuminati property!" Ace roared in anger "You desecrated the ancient artifacts of Kamar-Taj! You do not have the right to keep them!"
The man stretched out and said "Relax. You're from a different Universe, right?" Ace paused and the man continued "I see. The risk of incursion is growing by the moment." Ace looked at him and laughed, "Incursion? Are you a fool?"
The man frowned and Ace explained "Do you know what an Incursion is? The Universal wall of the Multiverse would've been shattered if it was so fragile that one person crossing created an Incursion. Whoever told you that Incursions were thus, is just as much of a fool as you."
He chuckled and continued "Incursions are the collision of duplicate planets due to Multiversal interference or coincidence. If there was an Incursion, you would see another Earth closer to your planet than the moon. There's an 8 hour window in which nothing will happen. To stop the Incursion, one planet must destroy the other otherwise both will collapse."
He shook his head and sneered "Incursions are what you would call cancer cells for the Multiverse. Everytime an Incursion occurs, our Multiverse loses a bit of its lifespan. Do you think the Multiverse would've lasted so long if one fellow traveled from Universe to Universe? What a joke." he lifted his paw and chuckled "No wonder Mordo is the Sorcerer Supreme in this universe, I've seen his private library… Let's just say he doesn't do very much studying…"
The man frowned and asked "How would you know?" Ace roared "I was once the Successor of Kamar-Taj! I know more about this universe than you do. Your actions towards artifacts have severely disgusted me, it's no wonder you believe yourself to be so well informed."
He turned to the woman and asked "You're Peggy Carter?" Peggy nodded and Ace asked in confusion "Where is Steve Rogers?" Peggy frowned and asked "What?" Ace frowned and said "Steve Rogers is Captain America in my universe… At any rate, stay out of this."
Peggy frowned and looked at him, asking "Why? What happens if I don't?" Ace shook his head and replied "Sharon is my fiance, you put the pieces together." Peggy froze and stared at Ace in shock, he turned to the stretchy man, saying "Now leave me! I will not kill you, but you're annoying me."
Wanda held the black woman by the throat and blew her head up like a balloon, splattering blood all over her face as she grinned "You done?" The man turned and said "Captain Marvel! Blackbolt! Damn you!"
He stretched over and Ace said "Stop!" as he lunged at Wanda, biting at her.
Wanda forgot about the guy and blasted out a beam. Ace's fangs blocked it and she flew backwards, dodging the snapping jaws. She giggled "Come, kitty." as the ground ripped up, turning into a stone drill.
Ace turned into his normal self and dodged, floating in the air as he said "I could feel this power in you in my world. Looks like I misjudged your right to freedom." before taking out a staff, pointing it at the drill.
The drill exploded and the debris turned into ice swords. He waved his staff and they flew at Wanda, as she blasted them to nothing, smirking at Ace, who smiled, "Is that all? Look again, kid."
Wanda looked around as the air around her was glimmering. Her eyes widened and Ace turned around to the man and Peggy saying "Anyway. I will be confiscating all your magical knowledge."
Peggy and the man looked behind him as the air around Wanda fractured and exploded, turning into a giant piece of clear ice. Wanda was frozen inside of it as they turned to Ace, who asked "Now, where is it?"
Not even a second later, Ace turned his head and frowned as the ice started cracking.
It exploded and Wanda was covered in red energy, crawling all around her as she hovered in the air, saying "You're really pissing me off." Ace replied "Then take a nap." as he made a circle with his staff.
Wanda threw a statue at him and Ace flicked out his hand, turning the statue to flower petals, curling his fingers. All the petals flew at him and spun in a ball over his palm as a pillar of water exploded from the magic circle, smashing Wanda into the wall behind her.
Her eyes turned completely red and glowed brightly as she shouted in rage, vaporizing everything around her.
Ace waved his staff around him, creating a purple barrier covered in runes, shielding Peggy and the Man as he looked at Wanda. Her hair floated up and she shouted, throwing her hands forward, blasting red beams at Ace.
He frowned slightly and pointed his staff out, a purple beam exploded from the tip, colliding with Wanda's as the excess mana splashed off like water.
Ace's hood flew off and revealed his face as he frowned tightly, waving his other hand forward.
A flurry of shimmering flower petals coiled around the beams, attacking Wanda, slicing her arms and cheeks, drawing blood as she got distracted by the pain.
Ace's beam plowed forward and smashed into Wanda, sending her flying through the wall and into the ground.
She glared at Ace as he floated towards her, pressing down with his beam, saying "You cannot beat me in your Dreamwalking State. Perhaps if you were here in your full power, but you're not. Maybe you're at 50% right now?" Wanda hissed "More than enough for you!" Ace smiled and said "Ask them if that's right." Wanda froze and looked around her as Blackbolt and Captain Marvel's ghosts appeared, standing around her, saying "You killed us!"
Wanda was spooked and Ace buried her into the ground before flicking his staff as the rocks and debris filled in the hole, burying Wanda in the earth.
