Chapitre 71: Ferdinand's confusion

Upon arrival at the office, Ferdinand immediately entered Katherine's room which was still very quiet and neat, because it turned out that Katherine had not come yet. The man was standing by the glass wall, looking at the view outside. He suddenly imagined that if he and Irina were not fated to be together, maybe it would be better for him to accept Katherine who was always kind to him.

'But Irina was also willing to give up everything for me….I can't just leave her just because Katherine looks better and has a promising future,' he thought anxiously. 'and maybe Irina always needed money because before she was such a pampered daughter, always getting whatever she wanted...I have to understand it... But, sometimes it's tiring. I am like a donkey which she always rides at will.'

Ferdinand sighed, feeling anxious thinking about his love story which slowly felt bland, disharmonious, and full of hypocrisy.
