"First of all, you were the one who came to me. You also said that the Principal is aware of my identity, right? This may be better..."
Lux sighed with emotion. Coincidence or not, the Principal of the Alcaeus Academy was Silvanna's father.
So while it may not necessarily be the best thing that he found out Lux's identity, it was still better than a random stranger.
'At least I know his character, and even if I drop out of the Academy, he won't try to take some bullshit revenge on Nia.'
'But if he or other Instructors try something funny behind my back...'
Unconsciously, Lux released his aura.
For a moment, Blaire was suffocated and barely managed to take a step back.
She thought that Lux was angry right now and that he might act against her.
'Does he want to silence us right now?' This thought couldn't help but pop up in her mind.
Fortunately for her, Lux realized what he was doing and quickly stopped releasing his aura.
"Let me meet with the Principal; I'll discuss things with him personally." Saying so, Lux went to the door and opened it.
Seeing his hand gesturing for her to leave, Blaire was stunned.
She didn't think that everything would go on so peacefully; this was the Light King after all.
Unanimously voted as the strongest person on Earth and an extremely mysterious figure.
What if he just decided to flip the tables around and threaten the Academy?
With his power, it should be possible.
But even if Blaire thought of that, she silently acknowledged Lux and made her way out of the room.
"I will talk with the Principal and tell him what you said to me, so you don't have to wor-"
Before Blaire could finish her words, Lux cut her off, "There's no need to. I'm going to pay him a visit right now."
Finishing his sentence, Lux closed his door, leaving a stunned Blaire on the other side.
'What...? He's going to do what?'
-----
Principal Ron Crestfallen was currently inside his own office. No one usually bothered him, only if it was important.
This gave the man enough time to do everything he wanted, except for when he had meetings to attend.
But even those were usually scheduled, so one could say that despite being the busiest man, he had the most freedom inside the Academy.
"I wonder how Blaire is doing. Did she manage to reach a conclusion with the Light King?"
Sighing while leaning on his chair, Ron Crestfallen didn't know what to make out of the situation.
For him, when he saw that Blaire wanted to erase the coordinates of the fruit from her SkyLimit bracelet, he was shocked by what he saw.
A signal emitting right from his Academy, and shocking was an understatement.
Could someone imagine that the oh-so-praised Light King was inside his Academy?
Could someone imagine that the strongest human to ever exist was playing 'student' with them?
'Those fan fictions about the Light King seem so plausible right now.' Chuckling for a while, Ron was still torn between making a decision.
Should he announce the Academies Association about his findings because they could probably use it to their advantage against other powers?
Or should he protect the student that he knew from a young age, albeit not so well, who was also his daughter's childhood friend?
'No matter what decision I take, I must take it today. The demons are also quickly moving from their holes; it won't be long before we should start the recruitment.'
Since the majority of the Academies finished their initial tests of the human prodigies, they were going to announce the participants they were going to send to the common training ground.
The common training ground was named Vortex.
Since every power in the world, Academy or not, was asked to send their people for intensive training, no one could refuse.
Not even the Ten Families or the World Government; it was just that important.
And while it wasn't really told by anyone, a lot of people were left in disbelief to hear what those powers did in the past.
It was clearly their fault for killing Demon Prince Bellicus and antagonizing the demons to the point of preparing themselves for a war against humanity.
A lot of people were thinking what could've happened if they took another decision back then.
What if they started to build some cities for the demons firstly, and see how many they were; because at this moment, they weren't even aware of how many demons were staying underground.
It would be foolish for them to try and send entire armies now, when the demons could have a ten million army at their disposal.
But what was in the past was in the past.
There is nothing they could do right now that was going to change the demon's mind.
So for now, the creation of Vortex was the best thing they could do.
Sending every prodigy and even some powerhouses of Earth to a single place to train.
Before Principal Ron Crestfallen could think of these matters even more, a knock was heard at his door.
Frowning, the man got up from his seat and asked, "Who is there? I don't have any scheduled meeting now."
"It's me, Lux."
Stunned, Ron Crestfallen hesitated for a while before going towards the door and opening it, revealing a composed Lux in front of him.
"Please come in."
Saying so, he didn't even bother to pretend that he didn't know why Lux was there.
"How did you get past Alex? I thought he was close by." Asking this, Ron calmly watched Lux's every gesture.
"I just teleported in front of your office. I didn't want to go through those troublesome steps of meeting the Principal."
Smiling, Lux seemed to tease the Principal, but again, considering his power, he was privileged enough to do so.
"I understand. Please, take a seat." Pointing to a comfortable-looking sofa, Ron and Lux began to make some small talk.
Until finally, Lux decided to ask, "So now, about our matter. What should we do? Just tell me first; I also have some ideas of my own."
A bit surprised that Lux didn't threaten him yet, Ron seemed to be pondering for a while.
"To be honest with you... I don't know. It was too sudden and unimaginable, that even now, after a few days passed, I don't have any answer for your question."
"That's fine. Then just listen to me. I have a proposal that I think you will agree to."
Lux's eyes started to glow a bit, making Ron gulp down his saliva.
'What could possibly excite him so much?'
