Chapitre 7: Elite
Darius said, "Give me some car keys and guns, I would meet you there. " But obviously they didn't agree with his thoughts. So, Garret and other elite members of their team, took Darius, completely handcuffed. Darius had no other choice, but to sit in the escort vehicle quietly for the time being. After talk with their seniors, the team was ready to move.
But, their eliteness was probably not better than the gangsters of Dukhovich. Because the escort vehicle, which was a van, similar to the ones people who want to do crimes take with them, was toppled because of an explosion.
The other two cars that was on the front and behind the van stopped, and the elite team exited the vehicle to protect their target. But they were killed quicker than expected. The only one to last till the end was Garret and Amelia. But even Garret was killed. Leaving, Amelia and Darius alive. Darius was trying to escape from the van, but Amelia stopped him, but she fell in a dilemma when she heard Darius words.
He even went as far as saying that there were probably some rats in their Interpol. That explained this explosion and all.
Amelia took Darius to one of the safe houses of Interpol near them. Darius didn't want to go there, but he had to, since he was injured from a bullet. She decided to call the only person she could believe in for the time period. Moreover he was quite good at his work.
She dialed his number. When the call was picked and a voice said, "Hello, Amelia. " Amelia said, "I am texting you an address. You need to get there immediately. Bring three units of O-negative blood with you. " They started quarrelling over the phone like they were a couple.
Meanwhile with Michael and me..
I couldn't help but glance at Michael's phone when I heard it ring. Like the plot of the story goes, this was probably Amelia's call. And like I had guessed, the name on the screen was Pure Evil. I understood who that was.
She said something. To which, Michael said, "I am doing well, thank you for asking me. " But I could tell that he was talking with sarcasm. Then they started fighting. It was clear that Amelia wanted him to do something, but Michael being childish, decided to fight. And like in the movie, at last he was threatened by Amelia in the name of our Triple A bodyguarding company.
He didn't gave a reply to her, whether he would go or not. Michael ended the call, with an angry look. He looked on the mobile in his hand, and gritted his teeth.
That's when I felt my mobile vibrate. I excused myself and went out. It was Amelia who was calling me. She called me, just to make sure that I would help her by bringing Michael to the safehouse and do the job for her. And unlike Michael, I had good relationship with Amelia. We were friends, even now. We just talked occassionally though.
I picked up the call and said with a smile, "Hey Am. Is this call related to why you called Michael?" She replied with a Yes. Then she explained me the situation they were in. I was not so surprised when I heard all that. It turned out to be exactly the same as in the plot of the movie. There weren't many changes in the plot till now.
She just wanted to make sure that Michael and I help her. And that too, just till taking Darius to the International Criminal Court. And from there, her people would take over the job of protecting Darius. The reason she didn't told about this to Michael was because of the tension in their relationship and also because Michael didn't even thought to figure out what was happening and why it was happening.
I acted like I was thinking. Then I said, "Alright. But make sure not to anger Michael. You know how he becomes when he is threatened. " Amelia sighed on the other side of phone and said, "Yeah.. " I couldn't help but say, "You know.. Michael he still loves you and is still missing you. I know him better than anyone else. His eyes says it all. He's just not experienced enough and obviously he wants to hide his feelings. "
"But why hide the feelings?", Amelia asked. I replied, "You remember that last job we had.. Kurosawa one?" Amelia replied, "Yes, the last one before you were.... " She didn't speak any further. I continued, "Well, he thinks that everything that happened on that day was because of you. He thinks you told your bosses about his task. And they were the ones to kill Kurosawa. And it did make sense, because they had a lot to gain from Kurosawa's death. "
She was silent at first, but then she said, "But, I never did tell anyone about that mission of yours. " I nodded my head and said, "I know. I believe you, and I am sure Michael does too. But you did break up with him after this incident, so it wasn't exactly helping your case. And anyways, just leave it for now. I will definitely bring Michael to the address. But send it to me too, just to be safe. "
Amelia ended the call. Soon a text message came and it had an address.
I decided to talk with Michael about this.
My first change in plot would definitely be bringing Amelia and Michael together. I mean, Amelia was definitely not my type, so there was no way that I would take her as my woman. Moreover I saw her like a sister from the beginning. So yeah.
Michael was still against my idea of helping Amelia. But that's when I decided to use my card. I said, "If you agree with this, you do know that we could get back our license back. We could then get that Triple A award. Your father would be proud of you once that happens. "
His father was his weakness. Although that man, didn't exactly like Michael, but he didn't show it to others. But I know that he would stab in Michael's back in the second movie.
