Chapitre 6: Darius Kincaid
Siefert nodded. I was surprised at first, but then I realised that he had probably misinterpreted what I said. The reason why I said that was because the car would go boom, in a few minutes. But Siefert thought that I was telling him to remember the car and keep it in his mind, because he won't be able to drive it till the danger was gone.
I didn't try to correct him. Because I guessed that if I were to tell the truth to him, he would probably do something stupid to protect the car from the blast. Michael looked at me weirdly, but he didn't say anything. When we reached outside the building, Michael decided to call the cleanup crew, that we people use.
He had those white earphone plugged in, and he was talking through it. "Hello, this is Michael Bryce, Executive Protection Agent, Fully licensed by the EU... " But the person on the other side said something that caused Michael to shut his mouth. It was probably among the lines, "I know, I saw it on the caller id. " or something like that.
It was clear that there was some sort of beef between the two of them. Then he told the person on the other side, "There is a clean up job here. " Then he starts telling the person on the other side the location, where we had beaten up several thugs who had come here to kill Mr. Siefert.
Just when he was about to end the call, I added, "You should also bring a bomb squad with you to the parking lot of this building. There's a Rolls Royce which is been set to blast with several plastic explosives. " Michael looked at me with stunned expression. I understood what he thought. It was probably that how I knew about that. Well, I can only say thanks to the director of the movie on my world.
Mr. Siefert was stunned and he looked towards the building with panicked expression. But then he was shocked by next statement. I said, "You know what, check it off. There's no need to send a bomb squad to a car which has exploded.
As if it had heard my words, the car exploded, and the sound of explosion shocked everyone. Michael ended the call, then he led us to his car. He asked me secretly, "How did you know that? You weren't the one to set those explosives were you?" I couldn't help but snort at that. I asked, "Do you really think of me like that?" Michael said simply, "Yes.. "
Several black lines formed on my forehead when I heard his words. Then I said, "I had checked the car out the first thing. There was no chance that his car wouldn't have been rigged with explosives. That's something from bodyguarding 101. If you had checked it, you would be the one, instead of me. Telling Siefert and me and that guy on the call about the car and explosives. "
Siefert unaware of our talk, sat on the backseat of the car, while thinking over something, probably his car. Any normal person would do the same. That car did came in millions of dollars, nothing easy to earn.
Seeing this, Michael frowned and asked, "How long would he be like this?" I smirked and replied, "Not long. It's probably for a short time. You know rich guys like to hold their toys close. You know what I mean. " Michael laughed, because he did know what I meant.
I decided to make Siefert happy. So I said, "Well, I did found something in the car. " Then I passed him the bag filled with something previous, more precious than money. Nope, not drugs. It was Siefert's pet dog. The dog was also inside the car. Probably that was the reason for him being sad. He smooched the bag, as well as dog, which made me almost throw up. He looked kind of like, he would be interested in animals like in those weird videos.
Meanwhile in somewhere else.
To be more specific, in Interpol National Bureau, Manchester, England.
Darius Kincaid was busy with his lawyer, Harr and several Interpol agents. The discussion was because of the trials of a dictator President called Dukhovich. And surprisingly enough the only person who had evidences against Dukhovich's wrong doings was Darius Kincaid. Moreover Dukhovich killed any and all person who decided to give evidences or witness against him. Not by himself, but his loyal men.
The head of the Bureau said, "We would let your wife, Sonia Kincaid free of all jurisdictions, if you sign this agreement. " It was just a simple agreement. Just stating their condition. Darius laughed at this and said, "You are going to free an innocent woman? Mighty fking white of you. " Darius' lawyer thought otherwise.
Harr said, "Hypothetically if we agree with this, what is there for Mr. Kincaid. You just caught Mrs. Kincaid, so that you could catch Darius. So it is not exactly afair deal. " After some more talking, Harr said, "My client won't sign this agreement. " But just when she finished saying that, she heard scribbling sound. It was Darius, he just signed the agreement.
He looked at the Interpol agents around him and said, "Sonia goes free. " Although his words were simple, but an experienced person could see the look of murder in his eyes. He would kill people if something were to happen to the woman he loves, more than himself.
Soon he was brought to a place, where he met his "bodyguards". He laughed at this and said, "So, now my protection would be done by dozen off duty cops.. " That's when a woman amongst the "off duty cops" spoke, "Everyone present are highly experienced in Europe. " One of the head guys said, "We are taking every precautions for your safety. And your information is classified. " Darius said in a deadpanned voice, "That makes me relieved. " That's when Gerret says, "We are prepared for every possible scenario. You won't be in any danger. " He walked near Darius when he said those words. Darius being Darius, smashes his head to Gerret's. Then he laughed and said, "You were prepared for that motherfker.. "
